I Want That Tip So Bad I Can TASTE It. (It tastes like sparkle.)

See you tomorrow bb! Mmmm... sweaty...

OK so you all know that the ten second Eclipse uber-teaser was released the other day (my nephew asked Sister Snarky how many times she was going to watch it and then, in an effort to be helpful, recited all of the spoken lines verbatim, as it was obvious she wasn't getting something given her incessant Blackberry replays...), and then today the Big Kahuna 90-second trailer was cast out to the breathlessly awaiting masses! I haven't watched either because I am saving myself for the big-screen debut tomorrow night when I go to see Remember Me with Jenny Jerkface and Myg (Sister Snarky is copping out and going to see one of her kids perform in the school talent show... pffft! where ARE her priorities?!).

...and YOU [did I just hear a "squeak!"???]

JJ and I went back and forth a few times after I informed her of the impending release of the trailers (she's not a very good spoiler whore, remember...[note from JJ: let's face it - I totally suck]) and she started to rub in the fact that I wouldn't be able to watch it given my role as the blog's pseudo-virgin. I was already planning on waiting for the pre-Remember Me trailer but since I despise being told what to do, I started reconsidering once she began taunting. Her logic seemed pretty convincing at the time - something about you can't get oral before "just the tipping" (and I am a bit of a pushover), so tomorrow night it is!

I honestly can't decide what am looking forward to more--I mean, the New Moon trailer made my heart race! I was massively excited to see it for the first time - and it made me all giddy every time I watched it afterwards. Which was often. Plus we will FINALLY get to see what David Slade's vision of Eclipse looks like - please please PLEASE let it be awesome!!! And let Edward look hot! All I know at this point is that Kristen Stewart had to wear a wig to cover up her Joan Jett mullet. Sooo... not off to a great start there but I'll allow it if he pulls the rest of the movie off with the treatment it deserves. Leg hitch! Leeeeeeeeeg hiiiiiiitch!!!

AND YOU - WHEEE!!! oh it's gonna be a good night...

I haven't seen any footage from Remember Me other than the official trailer... Which I have seen a bunch! It's played before every movie I've seen in the theater since New Moon! Ok, most of those movies were New Moon, but that's besides the point. And word on the on the mean streets of Seattle (from VitaminR70 - who was at an advanced showing also attended by RPattsNews and a few other lucky peeps) is that our boy can act! Our boy can act - wooo!!!

I just watched this again aaaand yes. he. can!

Pertinent questions for Friday night:

Can I hold my breath for 2+ hours?

Will David Slade have whupped "whiny Bella" out of the movie?? Will we be able to tell this in 90 seconds of spliced-together footage?!

Will Remember Me be a good flick?! I mean RPatts aside?? [Note to people who think they can talk about a movie and assorted parts of a movie without revealing spoilers: most of you can't. Please stop trying - I know too much already!]

I KNOW - I am all flustered, too!

So what are your plans for tomorrow? JJ, Myg and I will be at the theater tomorrow night. Latchkey Wife is one-upping us and taking a long lunch (must be nice, beyatch!) - are you headed to the theater tomorrow? Are you heading back on Saturday as part of the whole "Remember Me Saturday" thing? Let's talk game plans in the comments!

  1. I'm bad and I'm so not seeing "Remember Me" - I'm going to see Bourne 3.5 aka "The Green Zone." It's Matt Damon kicking ass, I know y'all are all over the supposed glory that is Rob, but when Matt Damon steps into the theater my eyes go to Matt.

Have fun and I'll keep my Eclipse virginity for as long as I possible can.

  2. Only going on Saturday (I think). I want to go tomorrow because I know I will have to avoid the internet until I see it on Saturday - that is why I am picking the first showing on Saturday ;) look at me being sneaky smart. I am not signing up for the comments on this post because I am afraid I will read something I don't want to. I will be back after I see the movie on Saturday, unless I cave and go tomorrow (too).

  3. Dangrdafne, I'm trying to hold out for Saturday too, but I have a feeling that the siren song will be calling me tomorrow afternoon...maybe I'll just play hookie from work. Maybe a long lunch? ;)

  4. Brooding Rob overload in this movie. Justifiable by his character anyway. Seen it last night (I'm in Australia) and will see it again tonight. Just a tip: Don't forget to breathe girls. :)

  5. I'm going tomorrow night, directly after work with @muffintopped and my BFF. Cannot wait! I've been ridiculously excited all week, and it's finally here!!!!

  6. We, my fellow twitard and I, are going to the 1:55 showing!!!! I dont think my heart or my husband could tak it if I had to wait longer! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  7. I saw it the other night at a sneak preview...get ready to lose the panties, maybe bring a defribulator. Its very good. Sad but good

  8. Hey Snarky...I, like you, am waiting till tomorrow night to see the trailer. I have heard it's not that good "GASP!" But I think it's only because Eclipse has sooo much more detail to it than New Moon did...so they're probably just throwing the "ok" stuff at us at first.

I think even the "ok" stuff is genius...I'm easily impressed when it comes to ANYTHING Twilight, or RPattz for that matter.

Elusive S and I plan to see it tomorrow night at 7pm. Drinks beforehand of course. I'm feeling a little under the weather today, but that wont stop me! Nothing gets in the way of Rob...not even a fever.
    lmao

    Great post!
    xoxo J

  9. PS tell @LatchkeyWife she's a BIOTCH and I'm insanely jealous she's seeing it at lunch.
    *muah!*

  10. Going tomorrow night. Pre-ordered tix. Dinner and drinks w/ fellow Roblover before. Saw the trailer. Alot. I'm prepared to lose my fucking mind. I know Rob can act, so I'm also prepared to cry like a little bitch.

@JJ You better get your whore on all proper like before Eclipse!!!
I said I would be your cheerleader, and a rhyme(ish) is in the works...how do I email you?

    exes and ho's,

  11. The Saga Mafia has an entire date night planned for tomorrow night (minus SweetBuns). We're putting on our "goin out" clothes, having a nice dinner and going to see Remember Me. You know we will be posting about it on the blog, and if I don't look fat, posting pics too.

I am so freaking excited about this it is ridiculous! I have also saved the Eclipse Trailer until tomorrow night so it's gonna be a double whammy!

I don't get out much so you better not disappoint, RPatzz!

HOLY FUCKING SHIT! My WV is "maxwoode"

  12. bought my tickets today and i'm headed to the theater tomorrow at 12:30pm the first showing of the day! i couldn't wait any longer! :D

Eclipses is my favorite book of the saga, so i have i feeling i'm going to be judging everything related to it a bit to harsh... :/ So Slade what'd you come up with! hey i'll be half won over as long as edward doesn't look like a grandpa! and no ugly brown shoes! But really, I'm looking forward to the trailer tomorrow!

  13. Well, seeing as how I have to WORK tomorrow and I only get a 30-minute lunch, unlike some of you biznatches... I have to wait until Saturday. Mr. Coffee flat out refuses to go with me - and honestly I don't want him there anyway. (Does that make me a bad wife?) My sister-in-law is going. She's not a TwiHoor like I am, so I'm afraid she may be slightly amused, hopefully not annoyed, with my RPattz craziness. I invited her simply because she's female and I don't want to go alone. (If I pass out I'll need SOMEONE to drag me to the car!) Needless to say, I probably won't be back online until Sunday.
    Peace out, bitches!

  14. Going tomorrow with my TwiBFF, Mrs Fashion. We have 7:25 tix and the hubses are otherwise occupado, senoritas. Can't wait to discuss with y'all this weekend!!!

w/v: pouncys - I can think of too many ways to use this word! Ha!

    ReplyDelete
  15. I cannot wait until everyone sees it....so we can discuss. I am still reeling from the movie...yep it pulled on my heartstrings big time. Enjoy everyone!

Sadly, I will be communing with nature, friends and alcohol near the mountain of my namesake, once again this weekend...this means no internets. I can't wait to come home and read what everyone thinks on Sunday night.

  17. I just re-watched Twilight last night. It was my only third time, but it was the best one yet. I found myself thinking, OMG, Rob actually did a really good job with this role. So, I have no doubt in my mind that he can, indeed, act.

I won't spoil your Eclipse trailer, but let's just say it gave me hope.

I'm going to see Alice in IMAX 3D this weekend. I'll have to wait until RM hits the torrent to watch it.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Yep, going to Remember Me Premiere with my sis and a friend, making it our "ladies night out". Can't make it for saturday though, but I promised to take my mom to see Remember Me on sunday (I know - I'm the best daughter ever with that kind of sacrifice... teehee...) so I'll make that Remember Me Sunday instead!

  19. I was supposed to go yesterday but got stuck on a school excursuion that finished an hour later than it was supposed to. Fucking school teachers. Where in Aus are you @faith? I'm in NE victoria.
Hopefully go this weekend & then I can take my girl.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Going tonite w/my girlfriend, the same gal who was to accompany yours truly to Forks, but she went and got knocked up so now the trip is up in the air.

Won't miss RM for the world, and totally ready to squee loudly for the Eclipse trailer!!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Just got back from a midnight showing of Remember Me!!!! It was fantastic!!!! The boy can act... I mean really act. Definitely makes me forget how bad How To Be was. I won't add anything else because I don't want to spoil except to say that he is ssooo fucking hot! I mean the whole time I was staring at his hair and his eyes and that awesome jaw line. I just wanted to scream to everyone in the theater that I wanted to fuck him :)
Oh and the Eclipse Trailer was AWESOME!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Just got back from Remember Me a few hours ago (it opened yesterday here in Australia ;) )

*sigh* It was better than I expected - and so was RPattz!

    ReplyDelete
  23. Getting dressed up, going out to dinner, some shopping, and then Robgasim! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKK!!!

    ReplyDelete
  24. The foreplay leading up to this night has got me all squirmy and hot & bothered. Waiting to see the Eclipse trailer on the big screen is almost more than this whore can stand. Pink Buttercream, only you could still love me if I self combust at dinner. I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  25. @TwiredJen - I heard that! LOL!

YUP, K_InTheFlo and I are "lunching" it with Remember Me. I'll try not to rub it in to all you poor saps who have to wait until tonight! The best thing is that no one knows I'm going, so I may have to use that to my advantage and go again on Sunday... since it's supposed to be a rainy, yucky day!

Only 4 more hours.... I'm not sure I'll be able to sit still!

    ReplyDelete
  26. @TJ - REALLY?! sheesh - i don't know what to make of you sometimes - is there anyone you won't put ahead of RPatts?! for shame... [jk... but REALLY?! lol...]

    : )

    ReplyDelete
  27. @Melissa - thanks for keeping the movie talk limited to "I want to fuck him" - lol!!! i think that's the only thing you can say and NOT reveal something about the movie, since we ALL already know about that bit - funny!

    : )

    ReplyDelete
  28. I am still pissed that i wasn't able to take the day off today - i still would have waited until tonight to go see it but i would have had more fun getting ready and making a nice girly-nite out of it beforehand (mr. snarly would be allowed to chill with us because he is a cocktail mix-master, for reals). but nooooo... stupid effing work. i hate you! it has been a loooong week but i don't even care that it was nice and warm and sunny for most of the week and is suppused to be howling rain and wind all weekend becuase i am looking forward to this movie so much. hell i might even drag myself beck out to see it again tomorrow if it's as impressive as everyone is indicating (although between you and me, while i think the Rob-Saturday thing--or whatever it's being billed as--is cute, i don't really think he needs our help too much to boost his stardom at this point in his career - lol - just sayin'! besides, we're all gonna see this movie a bunch and buy the dvd when it comes out anyway, i reckon - we don't exactly need encouragement to be more obsessed imho).

    : )

    ReplyDelete
  29. Since Mr. Junkie is out of town til late tonight & I don't think my 4 year old would enjoy this movie, my Twi-pusher & I are going at 2:10 tomorrow. A little 'afternoon delight' if you will :)

    ReplyDelete
  30. Have to wait until frigging 2nd April. It sucks!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Two ladies (I use that term loosely) and I are taking a late liquid lunch and going to the 3pm showing. Do not want to deal with all the teenager girls that will surely be there tonight! I will be home from work at the regular time, no one the wiser. My husband just called and said he saw that it opened this weekend, would I like to go. I'm all like, "Really, opens this weekend, Sure!" He He He - you and latchkey are a great influence on me!!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Claire and I are hitting the 4PM showing today. Thankfully the high schools get out at 4:05!

    ReplyDelete
  33. I am going with some fellow Twilight freaks today at 4:45. We were going to go to the 7:30 showing, but decided we just couldn't wait that long and we're getting off work early. This is way more important than making a living. Can't wait to see the precious.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Ugg my plans were to see the movie tonight but that may be thwarted by snow! What The Fuck!
It's suppose to be spring! We had nice weather all through the Olympics... and it snows now of all the days that it could...
I'm hoping that this dreaded white shit turns to rain soon and I can make my way into town to see our precious!

    ReplyDelete
  35. can i tell you how jealous i am of everyone who is going to see the movie (or has seen it) before me?! SOOO not fair - lol!! i hate RL this week. ugh.

i am going to post a "talk about the movie" post a little later today (before we head to the movie) so everyone can chat about it and we can all be obsessed together. because it makes me feel better about my own obsession when i am here with you guys - lol...

    : )

    ReplyDelete
  36. I saw the midnight show last night and it was "absofreakinlutely" wonderful! Thank goodness it was dark and nobody could see me staring and drooling at the screen. Rob really can act, the chemistry is wonderful, and he looks amazing. Have fun, everybody!!!

    ReplyDelete
  37. So I saw it with VitaminR, and yes, it definitely sticks with you and I think we both felt great relief and vindication after seeing the Rob can really act. :)

I definitely can't wait for everyone else to see this movie so we can say more than "It was great." And I also can't wait for the Twitarded analysis.

@Snarkier Than You thanks for planning on the "talk about the movie post" later. Like you, obsessing together makes me feel better about obsessing.

@TJB You are scandalous! :P Matt Damon is a great actor and very hot, but you will be impressed by Rob in RM. Wait, when will they put Jimmy in a movie? I think that would necessitate me flying out to NY for the opening, or you getting out to SEA.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Oh, and I wanted to say that this is the best blog title. Ever.

    ReplyDelete
  39. see, i have this thing called social anxiety where being around lots of people gives me the wiggins, so, like with new moon, i believe i will be going to see remember me sometime in the afternoon next week. when i can be alone with rpattz and with my thoughts...of rpattz...

    ReplyDelete
  40. @KittyElvie - sorry i didn't give ya' a shout-out in the post - i was having a meltdown over a bunch of things and as you may or may not have noticed didn't get this done until after 11:00 - blerg!

I'm glad that you & vitaminR had an awesome time and thanks for the props on the title - lol!

later peoples! gotta go let RL flog me for just a few more hours before i can focus on the evening's festivities! and i DO plan on it being festive, no matter what. : )

    ReplyDelete
  41. Somehow, I knew exactly what this Blog title was about. And I also knew, because of the title, that you wrote it, Snarky. I am sadly not able to check out the goods until tomorrow. Therefore, I would like to politely request that no one update their blogs for the next 36 hours. Please, and thank you.

What? So that's not happening? Fuuuuuuck. No cyberland for me after this, then. *sigh*

    Oooh! Veriword: Comenizi
eg: If Rob were working his magic, I'd be comenizi. Over and over.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Probably heading to a late show on Monday night. I know, I know, so far away! But I'm completely in the closet IRL with my Robsession so I have to be casual about how badly I want to see it and I'm going alone. (And someone has to watch the kiddos!).

I think I'm going to avoid all Twi blogs until I see it since I know there is potential for spoiler. Who am I kidding? I cannot avoid Twi blogs for a whole weekend!

Thank god you all exist so that I don't feel so alone in my obsession. I'm still in the early stages of denial.

    Heh heh, veriword: jection

Rob can give me a 'jection anytime.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I am not going to go see it until next weekend and Mr.Matt even volunteered to go so we are doing an official "date night" next weekend! I have not watched one Eclipse trailer on line or sneaked a peek at any pics - I think watching the preview in front of "Remember me" will be the only pressure against my twymen until this thing happens in June!! I am bound and determined to stay a virgin!

    ReplyDelete
  44. My husband pretends to vomit everytime he sees RP on tv or mag cover because he knows I think he's the hottest thing on the planet...so, if I want to Remember Me I guess I'll have to beg one of my friends to go with me!

    ReplyDelete
  45. I am having to wait until next week to see it. I can't get my schedule to jive with my one and only RPatz obsessed friend.

I thought about going to see it without her, but thought that would be a super big bitch move, and hubby has no interest. So today I am going to watch Matt Damon kick ass in Green Zone.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Just saw it. I was moved. And it is official that Rob is makes a beautiful vampire and a beautiful American. And he can act.
I believe that in this life it is my greatest wish to just run my hands through that damn hair of his. Damn everyone who gets to touch him!!

    ReplyDelete
  47. Remember Me gets better and better when you watch it more than once. Me want more casual Rob!!
@Stacked Like Sookie: I'm in Sydney btw. @BoxergirlSydney: if you need additional company for the craziness at the Eclipse opening, my neurotic flatmate and I will be happy to string along...

    ReplyDelete
  48. OMG I just saw it. I must see it again because I missed so much dialog just staring at 'the precious' on the big screen. I never saw the beauty of jaw porn in Rob until this movie. He is beguiling. Literally beguling.
    What stands out:
1-his face in the shower scene putting the wet cig in his mouth. yum. I know it's bad to smoke but honestly it's sexy. Rob makes it sexier. hubba hubba

2-Rob says 'pussy' and 'I love you' in the same movie.

3-He has a tattoo. (and no wonkie nipple!)

Must see again to catch dialog.
It's tastefully done. Not over the top. Not too much of anything. He should be proud. I am a very old teenager drooling over the screen....

    ReplyDelete
  49. @kitty_elvis honestly it's not Rob or his acting in RM that I'm concerned about or even effects my decision regarding the film, it's just funnier for me to say that I won't see the film because Matt Damon is hotter to me. I just don't care to see the film due to the subject matter.

Maybe one day I'll watch RM in my home away from prying eyes or maybe not.

However, if Jimmy is in a film we will watch it together, unless Lil Wayne is in it. I do love me some Jimmy, but Lil Wayne makes me vomit in my mouth even if some of his crazy songs are catchy - this away, that away!

    Team Jimmy 4EVA!!!
