Where will YOU be for Eclipse?

Okay, Twitards -- it's almost time!! One day until Eclipse premieres!!

Last year, Snarkier Than You and I planned out the New Moon premiere night like we were going head to head with the Volturi AND Victoria's vampy ahhhmay. I mean, it was some serious preparation. But this year we've taken a slightly more... laid back position and, well, really haven't done shit.

Don't get me wrong, our tickets are reserved, bars in the area are being scoped out and our cameras and video recorders are being charged as we speak. We were newbies as far as blogging goes when we went to see New Moon, since Twitarded was spawned a few months after Twilight had hit the theaters.

Like most things, we were late to the Twilight party. Meh, at least we're consistent.

But we're ready to do this, mother fuckers. You see, on Tuesday, Snarkier Than You and I are heading into New York City to watch the premiere of Eclipse. Even better, Latchkey Wife is HERE!!! from North Bumblefuck Maine to join us! [Note from LKW: Squeeeeeeee!]

I can't be certain but I'm almost positive this is Latchkey Wife's digs...

It will be the first time the Twitarded trifecta will be together. If you start seeing locusts or the oceans run red with blood, you'll know why.

Anyhoo, it's going to be, like, a katrillion degrees in New York on Tuesday so I'm also packing a lot of wet-wipes to battle any potential swamp ass and I'm even bringing a sharpie in case a certain smexy young Brit is lurking around the big apple. Hey, you never know. I might even share my wet-wipes with him.

Oh mah gahd, I'm going to be in the SAME city as the psycho bitches from Twitarded?!!

What are YOUR plans for the big day? Are you going to battle the tweens and cougahs and hit the theaters? Are you going to take a possibly more practical approach and wait until the fervor dies down before going to the movies? Perhaps you're going to just say "fuck it" and plan a big ol' party with your Twi-minded friends the night of the premiere and sit around and watch Twilight and New Moon. We want to know what your plans are!

Regardless, I'm beyond stoked that I get to partake in the mayhem that is opening night of a Twilight saga movie. I know that many of you will opt to wait until the weekend to venture to the theaters, which probably makes you a fuck-lot smarter than us. Because of that we will refrain from totally dishing on the flick for a few days. I guess I'll just have to talk about my vagina or farting or something instead.

  1. First of all....I am so fucking excited, I can't stand it! This is my favorite book & is sounding like the best movie so far, so....fucking SQUEEEEEE!!!!!

Secondly, here are my plans. Me & 9 of my fellow twi-pals are going to the 4:35 showing (because we are WAY too old to try to stay up for the midnight show). Then, we have 7:15 reservations at Macaroni Grill to dine, drink & drool.
I have my 'dazzled' tank top & gaucho capri's hanging on my closet door & ready to go, along with my Eclipse bracelet (with wolf & crystal), Team Twitarded & Be Safe pins. Oh, yes, and Mini Edward - I'm not sure who is more excited, him or me.
It's like freaking Christmas I tell you!!!
(PS - my husband is coming back into town on Wednesday after 4 months away & I posted on facebook, "2 more days" & he said "til I come home?".....ummmmm, sure honey, if that's what you want to believe" :)

  2. Hell to the yeah we're going to the theater! Myself and 4 closest besties are sharing a 2bdrm hotel suite with 7 other Twitards! It's walking distance to the movie theater where we have "Trilogy" tickets! Twilight starts at 7pm. *note that I don't REALLY want to watch NM again - however it's the best way to secure seats for Eclipse* We'll start trolling around about 4 to see if we need to be in a line or just go pick our seats - and take turns going back to the room to refill our flasks! The husbands are all staying home with the kidlets! We've had this all planned since NM, so yeah, I'm CRAZY excited!

  3. I'm joining you twatwaffles in New York tomorrow and I can't wait!!!

  4. Hi buddies!!!! I am so jealous you are all together. Anyhoo, my plans are this. Midnight pre-funk partay at @Kitty_Elvis' house tomorrow night, then midnight show with her and some of her other friends at Cinebarre....over 21 theater with alcohol..woot! Then, I am off all day with my BFF on Wednesday and we are going to the spa for massages. After that we plan to drink and eat and drink some more. We will then be meeting up with ten of our buddies for a 7:30pm showing of Eclipse. I also have many tentative one on one friend dates to see the movie again and again. I am like the slutty movie going friend...only with Twilight movies though. I will likely see it many times...I think I saw New Moon 7 times...or was it 9? Can't remember..ha!

I am so motherfucking excited!!!!!! SQUEEEEEEEEEEE! My Twymen is so ready for complete obliteration!!!!! Woot!

  6. I am absofreakinlutely excited about tomorrow. A bunch of us, including my co-blogger KassieCullen, are hitting the Trilogy and it is my first Midnight show. Have never done that before.
Then Saturday, Kassie and I are hitting the IMAX showing with 17ForeverLisa and Mama Cougar! What a great day that will be! Meeting our awesome bloggy buds and seeing the precious in IMAX! GAH!

  7. Well, I’m off to a private IMAX event tomorrow at midnight (okay, it’s the only fucking IMAX on the island but whatever, it’s exclusive, mmm kay?)

I will have to hold my own, since most fans in HI are Team Jacob (don’t fucking lie HI peeps, I saw the sign ups!!) So I will wear my Edward shirt proudly.

I will take lots of photos, and then sleep in because I told my boss, I need the day off. Twilight movie releases, are like holidays. I put that in my request, and neither my boss nor HR said anything, so okie dokie.

Everybody who is venturing out.... Have FUN!!

    It’s TIIIIIIIMMMMMME!!!

    ReplyDelete
  8. The boss lady and I are both taking half days on Wednesday to see an afternoon show!! SO EXCITED!!

    ReplyDelete
  9. Excited behind words. I am doing the Trilogy... I never saw Twilight the first time it was in theaters so I am making up for it. At 12:02 I will sqeeing like crazy when Eclipse starts, they better not put previews in there, that will really piss me off. Then I will sleep most of Wednesday, or not since I will probably drink too much caffiene tomorrow and at 7:30 Wednesday night I will be watching all over again.

    Over 21theater? So jealous...

Do wish I was watching with some Twitards!

    ReplyDelete
  10. Oh yeah, forgot to mention that I am taking the day off for this. I do believe my addiction is a wee bit out of control!

    ReplyDelete
  11. Preparing right now by watching twilight and new moon tonight. Planning on camping out for good seats in Martin Tennessee! Super Jealous the Vit R has an over 21 theater!!! I am taking Weds off work in order to re-coup!

    ReplyDelete
  12. It's a tradition. Mr TM and I have gone to the midnight opening of every Twilight movie. The whole going out at midnight is so crazy for folks our age, but sweet and romantic at the same time.

    ReplyDelete
  13. I'm doing the triple feature fun time with a midnight Eclipse showing. Never got to see Twilight on a big screen so I'm uber excited. Going with a friend and potentially mini-e. I hate crowds so I think I've potentially lost it (okay, I never had 'it; anyways). I can't believe that I have to work the next day! BAH!

Looking forward to hearing about all the crazy antics that you guys are going to get into!

    ReplyDelete
  14. I am going to the 12:01 showing with 2 of my twi-fabulous coworkers and 2 teenage girls (daughters of one of said co-workers). We plan on living it up at a mexican restaurant before, just like we did with New Moon. Can't. Freaking. Wait.

I also can't wait to see the bomb-ass Deathly Hallows trailer on the big screen. Surely it'll be playing...

    ReplyDelete
  15. Hellz Yeah I'm going tomorrow night. I feel like a kid on Christmas, I've been walking around and smiling randomly out of nowhere. I'm going to the triple feature because honestly, I don't know if I could wait until 12:01am to get my fix. Unfortuately, I am going alone, so I hope I don't have to pee or I will lose my seat!

    ReplyDelete
  16. We will be the Tweens and Cougars you are talking about HA! I am taking my 13 yr old daughter out to dinner then hitting the Market Fair in Princeton for the midnight showing! We are both so excited!!

    ReplyDelete
  17. I'm sooo jealous. I wanted to see Eclipse on premiere night with other Twi-hards but I can't! : (

I had to go for my chemo today. Believe it or not, my doc was not agreeable to postponing it due to the Eclipse premiere. Actually I think the doc wanted to slap me when I made the suggestion.

So I wont be able to go till next week sometime...Arrgggg

    ReplyDelete
  18. OMFG I am beyond excited. Seriously. I can't think about anything else but the precious, large screen... oh god I need to wring out my panties already.

So this is how it's going down. July 1st is the release date in NZ so we're hitting the midnight screening Wednesday night. Me and nine others (of whom I think only one is as addicted as me, so really, two twitards and eight part-timers) are hitting Twilight at 7pm, NM at 9.30pm then ECLIPSE at midnight. Not only do I have thursday off but I've had this whole week off (a little coincidental) and since it's winter and it's fucking freezing, what better way to pass the time than to re-read Eclipse. I've got about 400 pages to get through between now and then...

Will totally be sneaking some flasks in to the theatre, not exactly legal but when has that ever stopped us before?

I saw NM at the theatre 4 times so fully intend to top that with Eclipse. Haven't ever seen Twilight at the cinema so am also squeeing about that.

Enjoy, twatwaffles. Will be thinking of you all in the fart/tent scene ;)

    ReplyDelete
  19. I will be at the local theater with a friend and thousands of other twitards. I may or may not have just opened a can of worms by poking our local news station to beg that they cover it, ha!
Plans for tomorrow: get hair did at 2pm, 3pm get clothes on 4pm get in line with BK food and wait until 6:55 to see the TWILOGY!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  20. I can't wait for tomorrow night. The work day today went so slow and I can only imagine how slow tomorrow's will go, and they asked me to come in early, so that won't help. Then I'm off the theater to meet Dangrdafne and Mrs. P!! I can't wait! I hope we don't get kicked out.

    @LKW: Nice house!!

@Isabella MARIE Cullen: You're going to meet up with Lisa and Mama Cougar? You are going to have so much fun!!

veri word: oveliz. I hope my oveliz can handle 2 hours of Edward.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Me and a true blue fellow Twitard (Mel in the ATL) are going to the trilogy tomorrow night starting at 6:30 pm. First to the Grape for a glass of wine, then Twilight, New Moon, and then ECLIPSE!!! SO EXCITED!!!

Taking tomorrow afternoon off and Wednesday to either sleep in or see the 11 am showing of Eclipse. Most likely the latter...!

I'm gonna get my drink on and i'll be wearin my Team Jake shirt WootWoot

    ReplyDelete
  24. All hands on deck! We are at JizzCon 1! Squeeeee!

Earlier this month I re-read Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse [for the tenth freakin' time!] to get ready. Tonight I watched Twilight and New Moon. I am ready!

Going to the midnight showing tomorrow with my daughter. Thursday after work I'm going with a bunch of co-workers. [I'll have to go again next week with any co-workers who can't make it on Thursday.] They aren't obsessed like me, but they help me feed my addiction. And we have tickets to go see it in IMAX on Monday! Woo-hoo! I cannot f*cking wait!

Sure wish we had those reserved seat theaters that serve booze around here! Lucky bitches!

    ReplyDelete
  25. totally going to "the twilight experience" where they screen twilight, new moon, THEN eclipse at midnight. oh man, i literally cant even handle typing it. it's going to be intense to say the least. i'm hoping that the big purse full of wine and candy will help get us through! it all starts at 5 pm. thats a solid 9 hours of twitardedness...

ps booked the hotel in FOOOORRRRKKKSSSSS this afternoon (squeeee x 35236246)

  27. Movie ticket? Check. Pocket Ed and Jake? Check. Camera? Check. Twilight cupcakes I ordered for the movie? Check. Readyyyyyyyy
My friends and I got tickets to an early showing that benefits charity, so we're actually seeing it 3 hours early what what? Yes, we ordered cupcakes with the image of the Cullen crest for this movie. I've avoided clips and pics for too long, I'm ready for the movie! And oh yeah, if you think NY is hot come down to Texas, any northern person would melt in five seconds here lol

  28. Whoot I'm doing the trilogy tomorrow night!
Hubby is going to join me poor bastard, but he's being a real sweetie about it.

  29. oh sheeeeeet! the twitarded ladies together, all three of them!? epic. please to be causing some drunken mischief!

i tried to get wednesday off, but some bumblefuck i work with (who i already can't stand because he has a ridonkulous napoleon complex) randomly decided to take a wednesday off. i'm pretty sure he did it just to spite me. he's trying to ruin my life.

well, that twat isn't stopping me. i am indeed headed to the theatre tomorrow night with a few fellow twitards. red contacts? check. mini e? check. mini bottles of whiskey? (for mini e, of course...) CHECK! i will be at work at 7 am on weds, probably drooling all over myself.

OH, and i will be armed with wet wipes as well as a cooler of ice to dump down my panties, because it's going to be about 112 degrees fahrenheit here in phoenix tomorrow. CHEERS!

    ReplyDelete
  30. Seven twihards and I will also be in NYC with the trifecta. I can't wait. Everyone I know thinks I'm crazy... ha! I am going to enjoy my Twitardedness to the fullest.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I was so completely wasted after staying up for the midnight premier of New Moon that I am opting out of the opening night festivities. My friend and I will catch the show the following day, at our local podunk theater in our one horse little vermont town. Wish I had less of a life and could run off to NYC with all you tards, you'll be having a blast!! Take pictures!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Midnight, with my 11 yr old and three people I have converted!!! Hopefully they will still love me when it is all over! I know that some of you like it quiet, but I just gotta give a squeee or 2. Can't believe it is tomorrow!!

    ReplyDelete
  33. I'm gonna be sitting next to you or STY or LKW, with my palm up, waiting for someone to either a) hold my hand or b) put some skittles in it!

    Can't wait!

    ReplyDelete
  34. 11:30 AM on Wednesday! I have an eye appointment at 2 so I need to leave work early. Like 10. But since I come in at 9, what's the point? So its sleepin' in and then excitement city. The eye docs won't even have to dilate my pupils!
I've talked with 2 who've seen it and all they can say is "awesome" and "Jasper rocks".

    ReplyDelete
  35. Really?? It is in less than 24 hours that I will meet Living with Edward and Mrs. P to see Eclipse!!!??? OH MY! I think I am more excited to see them than the movie at this point though. It is going to be sooooo much fun. I think I may even be over the whole I hope they like me in real life issue LOL!!! I need to get to bed though so I can stay up *feeling old*

Everyone have a great time and Be Safe.

    ReplyDelete
  36. OMG YOU GUYS OMGOMGOMGOMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can I just say that as a kid who grew up Jewish, I am now, for the first time, understanding just how Christmas Eve feels? EXCEPT THIS HAS GOT TO BE SO MUCH BETTER :-D

I'm going to the Trilogy with two Twi-fan friends who are not as crazy into it as me, but who think it's hilarious how into it I am. I'M SO FUCKING EXCITED! I will be texting my darling Toefunny from the theater as we both watch, miles apart - nothing can separate our love. YOU GUYS IT'S ALMOST HERE HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO GO TO BED?!

I will admit - I am a little nervous about fending off the tweens, but I don't care - I will shank a 12 year old if she gets between me and My Precious.

YESSSSSSS IT'S TIIIIMEEEE!!! Have so much fun, everybody, can't wait to rehash with you all!

And @ Ms.hopeful2010 - Unfortunately, your doctor probably gets the last word in postponing chemo to see Eclipse, but it's probably better this way - you won't have to deal with the crazies and you can squee in peace! Best to you and hugs and kisses at this less-than-ideal time.

    ReplyDelete
  37. HOLY FUCKING SQUEEEEEE it's almost tiiiiiime!!! LKW is with you guys? Jesus christ on a popsicle stick. Jealous! Well, since I'm going solo, I decided to catch the first show of the work day. Of course, I'll be waking up early to watch Twilight and New Moon before heading out. This way I can pump my flasks and eat some lunch at the mall after getting drunk (nay, HORNY) to calm my nerves before driving home. And I will be wearing a skirt. Easy access, bitches.

Is anyone else PISSED that this film is coming out in the middle of the fucking summer, so we'll be fighting with teens for the good spots in the theater at any given show? I loved going to see NM, and being one of 4 people in the theater the morning of the release date.

I wish I had some Twitards out here to go see it with me. Better yet, I wish I had the funds to drive 2hrs up to Portland to see it in IMAX. ..::hangs head in shame::..

    ReplyDelete
  38. I forgot to mention that I will be wearing my TWITARDED t-shirt!!!!!!! Hellz yeah!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Hubby had the nerve to go out of town tomorrow but the babysitter is coming on Wed and I am going to duck into a theater in Hoboken by myself... sigh! I wish I could join the Trifecta in NYC... maybe for Breaking Dawn 1?
    xoxo

    ReplyDelete
  40. Wow, so I'm a total idiot thinking I was the only one seeing the Twiology.

My friend and I finally bought honey colored contacts and will be dressed up veggie vamp like.

Side note: When I came home with the contacts hubby goes "Don't you think you've just taken this too far?" NO! :)

Then after the triple show I will sleep until it's time to take my sisters out to the 2:30pm show on Wednesday. I can't recall seeing any movie in theaters twice!

    ReplyDelete
  41. I recall many months ago agonizing over being too old to go to a midnight showing, but I caved and went with some friends. This time around there was no waffling whatsoever. Waiting til Wednesday was never an option. Four of us (in varying degrees of Twi-love; me being the worst/best) are meeting at Rock Bottom for drinks then onto the midnight showing!!! I'm working my ass off tomorrow so I don't have to go in early on Wed. to put the paper to bed. I was a grouchy bitch the morning after in Nov:-/

Everyone enjoy The Precious this week, no matter where & when!

Me and my "Twilight is good, yeah, I'd do RPatz in a heartbeat, but it's all nothing to really be obsessed about" friend will be seeing Eclipse on the 6th.

I am seriously, seriously, thinking of going by myself, ignoring the tweens and snuggling up to the cougars to go see it on Wednesday. And not telling her. I have been such a spoiler whore, I don't know if I can wait another fucking week.

So Wednesday, who knows where I will be. I may remain loyal to the above friend, or I may tell all my clients to go fuck themselves cuz I have better things to do, and act like I have never seen the movie before when I go with above friend. We will see :)

    ReplyDelete
  43. Um, "a katrillion degrees?" I live in Ala-fucking-bama! It get so damn hot and humid down here that your eye balls even sweat! Don't talk to me about HOT! You don't know hot until you've spent it in the SOUTH!

Anyways, a friend of mine and myself have rented out a theater for a private showing with 100 of our closest friends. No offense to any screaming teen fans on this site, but I have no desire to watch this movie with you, so I will be watching it with a bunch of other cougar hoors! And I'll be refamiliarizing myself with Twilight and NM before hand. Yeah, 8 hours in a movie theater...only Rob could keep me excited enough to stay awake the entire time. He better be damn hot in this movie!

    ReplyDelete
  44. I have no Twitarded friends IRL :-/ so I half-heartedly asked my family (hubby and 2 sons aged 16 and 14) if they fancied coming along to see the movie with me on Sunday evening (I've been invited to a wedding on Saturday, so can't get to the cinema that day - how annoying!).
Imagine my surprise when all 3 of my fellas agreed to come along! Well actually, I knew the 14 yr old would, cos he's read the books more than once, but 16 yr old and hubs???????
Guess I'll have to do my squeeeeeing on the inside, so as not to give the game away........but I bet hubs will get lucky after the movie...... [if you know what I mean ;-)] there's gonna be plenty of UST in my panties after Eclipse!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  45. I have to work but luckily in Vegas the movie theater is in the casino so either working 1-9 or 2-10 taking last hour dinner to get in line with my Twi-bestie! Definitely bringing my ipod again so I can watch Twilight while I wait. Last year they let everyone in the theater around 10 or so which left a lot of time with nothing to do! I can't fucking wait!!!!!!! Between Eclipse premier and Harry Potter trailer I may pass out from all the excitement!

    ReplyDelete
  46. Totally going to a midnight showing. We are even in theater #17. Woot woot! There are 12 of us going, including my 24-year-old daughter and some of her friends. Can't wait! I loved the whole midnight showing experience for New Moon.

Can't wait to meet Marie and Kassie (and company) from Twilight Junkies Anonymous when Mama Cougar and I make the trek to watch it on the IMAX screen with them on Saturday. *waves at Marie*

Cannot believe that this time tomorrow, I will be reunited with Robward. *sigh*

Can't wait to hear about your adventure, especially with LKW.

    @VitaminR - One word: FFFOOORRRKKKSSS!!!

@LwE - Have fun with the two DDs and Mrs. P!

    ReplyDelete
  47. Apparently Im gonna be in North Bumfuck as well, since I, too, am a Mainah. LOL.

I'm going to the Imax Cinemagic in Westbrook, near the mall. I like that theater. It's clean. Trust me, Ive had some not so pleasant expereinces with nasty theater bathrooms. *shudders*

    ReplyDelete
  48. I'm going to the Trilogy/midnight show with my lovely Twitard BFFs F-Kat and ZanyMouse, plus my sister, daughter and some other friends. Can't wait!!!

@Ms.Hopeful2010 - Hang in there with the chemo and take care!

@All - I saw Eclipse Thursday night, and take my word that you are going to LOVE it!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  49. I am going to the 23;55 show tonight with my 3 friends and our husbands.

I made us each a Team Edward t-shirt and panties that says "Edwards' Bitch" on the back!

And the boys also get a shirt saying "The Twilight Saga Stole my Wife"!

I am so stoked!! I will be elbowing the teens and screaming the loudest when Edward does his first sexy walk across the screen! I will HAVE to go see it again the weekend as my excitement make me miss some stuff the first time!!

    ReplyDelete
  50. Merry Christmas to all of us!!!!!!!!!!

Four of my friends and I are going to Eclipse Wed night in our small town cinema where the manager will no doubt, once again give his usual lecture about not taking pictures of Robward during the movie and will be ignored as usual. I plan to re-see it with an assortment of other non-Twitards throughout the summer. Also our original 5-some will regroup for an IMAX trip in mid-July. A Twilighty summer ---- ahhhhhh!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  51. OME I can't believe it's finally almost time!!!!!! SQUEEEEEEEEEE!

Wish I could be somewhere exciting for the premiere, but alas, I'm staying put here on the Cdn east coast. Going with my Twisisters (and one Team Jacob friend) to an advanced screening at 7pm, then EliMacD_NS and I will head across the harbour and hit the midnight show at another theatre.

The next 10 hours is going to be so looooooooooong! But a dreadfully long day is so worth it when Edward is waiting for me at the end!!!

    ReplyDelete
  52. I am going to be sitting next to my fellow ATL twitard for 8 straight hours because we scored tickets to watch all three movies starting at 6:30 PM tonight. We are meeting up early to start drinking.

I already have trip #2 planned - Sunday morning while the men folk run the Peachtree Road Race I will be headed up to the boondocks to watch all the RPattz/P Fach goodness on IMAX with some girls. YAY!!!!!!!!

    I am soooooooo excited. SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

    ReplyDelete
  53. My very first thought this morning: SQUEEEEEEE-it's-here-OME-SQUEEEEE! Doin' it up big time with a pre-party and then the midnight show.

@MsHopeful2010 - sending thoughts and prayers your way for a quick recovery! Might I suggest a mini-Edward to accompany you to your doctor appointments? :)

@Chloe - There are many benefits to husbands after these movies :) Perhaps this is why Mr. XKR - to my utter shock - agreed to accompany me to Eclipse as many times as I'd like. It ain't cause he likes Edward, yall.

    ReplyDelete
  54. My mother and I will be going on the 12th. I hope to avoid some of the teeny-boppers so that I don't get arrested! I have day care and we have a whole day planned that includes lunch and shopping in those stores that are not child friendly (spank shop and new head shop that just opened!)Before going to drool over our men!

    ReplyDelete
  55. Man, you guys all have exciting plans. It's just gonna be me and a shamwow in the movie theatre.

    ReplyDelete
  56. My friend Stacy and I will be in line probably nearing the 7pm hour - ya know - with a Wet Willie's frozen bar right next door to the IMAX theatre... :D

We went to the pre-screening last night and did the same routine: get an "Attitude Adjustment" and some "Shock Treatment" and chill in the line until they let us in. The heat is brutal - so a very nice frozen beverage cooled us right down ;)

    Happy Eclipse Day!

  57. To avoid catching a felony charge for throat punching a fangirling tween, I'll be waiting until Wednesday at 1:15 to waller in the Eclipse wonderment. I work for Emergency Management here in Florida so we've all been tied up battling tarballs but me and 2 of my work bitches are ditching work Wednesday. Priorities, I know :)

    ReplyDelete
  58. Going to the midnight show in downtown Seattle. Dragging hubby and the tween/teen kids -- letting them stay up late since it's summer. At my age I'll be a wreck tomorrow but CAN'T WAIT!!

  59. because i suck, i have to work on thursday, so no gettin' drunk & watching eclipse on wednesday night. the daughter & i are going to stay @ home and watch twilight. very fucking exciting, i know. i am not however working on friday, so i plan to get tipsy & watch new moon on thursday night, and then my girlie & i have tickets to the friday night showing of eclipse. sushi & booze ahead of time. for me at least. i would probably get arrested if i gave my 14 year old any sake. and then i'd be in jail instead of at the theatre. and we can't fucking have that, can we?
    so fucking stoked, bitches!!!!

I saw it on the Mega Screen (one step down from IMAX apparently) last night and don't worry I won't spoil anything partly b/c I, of course, need to see it a few more times to solidify my judgment but let me sum it up by saying, the first thing you hear is the Black Keys which gave me chills which pretty much set the tone for the movie. I think my exact words were "the theater reeked of a sweet mixture of redemption and the fuel that runs the little engine that could." (While I love Twilight and liked New Moon, when I stepped outside the blind twitard allegiance box I was not overly impressed with either where actual quality is concerned if that makes sense.) My 1.5 cents.

  61. 14 more hours!!! It's so fucking hard to concentrate at work today. I'm picking my friend up at 9pm then we are hitting the bar for an appetizer and cocktail before going to the midnight showing with the middle schoolers. I have never gone to the midnight showing before and I vowed to do that with Eclipse!!

  62. I am seeing the trilogy all together tonight with my best friend and one of my hubby's coworkers. I can't wait! I've got our tshirts made (I learned how to screenprint at home and that has made wearing Twilight shirts much easier). Then tomorrow I have to drop my best friend off and go babysit two kids, starting at 745am...It's going to be a long day but totally worth it.

  63. I'll be at the local historic(one screen 71 years old) theater the same place we went to the midnight show of twilight with my group (JE, Plain Jane, Twi-cuz and her friend, my sis the Twi-hater and our friend :))

I want to take a group pic!! It's should be a blast!

  64. 21+ theater with Vitamin R tonight and IMAX with my sister-in-law tomorrow night!

Really looking forward to the inappropriate comments and laugh with VR tonight - especially since Robward will be plentiful!! <3

  65. Unfortunately my friend would not wait until next week, so I'll be at the IMAX at 7 pm Thursday.

I let her convince me to do the midnight thing with New Moon and that was soooooo humiliating. Especially since I wore my Twitarded t-shirt.

Hopefully this won't be AS bad. But I have little hope...

I was more excited about the Remember Me DVD last week!

  66. Toronto. Tonight. Triple feature.

Me and my unsuspecting friend Jen (my oldest friend, from kindergarten).

Two hip flasks of scotch. One thermos of butter (gotta have real butter).

And likely a half or two-thirds day of work tomorrow, since it's Canada and it's the day before Canada Day. So that could mean another viewing!

  67. Oooh, totally bringing the hip flask. Hubby will appreciate the suggestion!!

  68. ok, so i hate people. crowds especially. my agoraphobia kicks in, and i can barely stand still. barely form thoughts besides "get me the fuck outta here!"
that said, when new moon came out, i waited until the middle of the week, in the afternoon, so see it. having to go by myself was also a factor.
but this time...one of my only twilight buddes, amy (who was visiting another twifriend in NY for new moon), has convinced me to attend the premiere...not that i'm not suuuuuper excited! i mean, i want to see it. i crave it! but people scare me. and piss me off. and annoy me. you get the picture.
we are soooooo getting drunk before then.
also, i have no shame saying that i am almost just as excited to see the deathly hallows preview! eeeeeeee! two good things at once? FUCK YES!!!

  69. I am going to my first midnight showing tonight! My little-town theater has never done them before. I'm a little nervous -- afraid I will either be the only dorky one to show up OR that it will be me and a theater full of kids! LOL Very excited to FINALLY be seeing Eclipse though!

Sat. a friend is coming to visit for the day and we're driving down to see it at an IMAX theater.

  70. I'm taking in the 7pm showing tomorrow with 14 of my girlz. A few of us are leaving work early to start boozing. And I picked up my 4 pack of mini wines for consuming during the movie. I'm debating bringing Mini E. Only one of my besties know I have him... I have a feeling I will be flamed when I produce him from my bag but I don't think I care. I know I won't care after 2 or 10 cocktails.

I am so muthaeffing SQUEEEEEEEE excited I cannot concentrate on anything else. Work, schmerk. Bring on Edward!!

  74. 6 hours to SQUEEEEEEEEE!! (breathe, breathe)

Annoying day job meant that Midnight showing was not an option. (breathe, breathe)

    Sunday: reread Twilight

Monday: wear Plaid, watch Twilight, watch Twilight again but with commentary on. Wonder again if Rob was stoned - so. much. giggling.

Tuesday: wear green shirt and jeans, mentally run through the water fountain all day. Watch New Moon. Watch half of New Moon with the commentary on. Wonder again if Chris was trying to protect Rob from embarrassing himself by giggling at his waxed eyebrows again.

Wednesday: SQUEEEEEEE!!! 7 pm showing (breathe, breathe)

Thursday: Canadian Holiday (yessss!) May go see it again at theatre where 100 Monkeys played.
