Crap. And JMFHF This FOOOORRRKKS Thing Is ON!!! SQUEEE!!!

Ok so I had some stuff I wanted to post tonight but I am leaving for the airport to head from Newark to Seattle in ooooohhhh four freaking hours and guess who's not done packing??? Erm yeah that would be me. Anyhoo, sorry for the massive bloggy fail. But please know that while we don't expect to abandon the blog AT ALL over the next few days, our posting will be not sticking to our usual schedule and will be more about frequent snippets of the trip/updates--not our usual once-a-day ramblings--so check back often!

I hope to be able to say what I wanted to say sometime tomorrow/by tomorrow night (Wednesday. I think. Gah - what day is it?!) because dammit it's something that I have been thinking about for a while and I started a post about it months and months ago. You all know how I roll at this point but SHIT this is important and I wish I was more organized like Latchkey Wife who finished packing last week, watched Glee tonight, and went to bed (fucking show-off).

I will try to get myself together tomorrow before we head off in the evening to feed Jenny Jerkface salmon in Seattle (we were all threatened with bloodshed if JJ wasn't fed salmon within six hours of the plane setting down at SeaTac, and I don't think she was kidding).

Me right now. Or at least what I would dream I would be like if I was going to sleep tonight and was even mostly finished packing, which I am NOT. Blerg.

P.S. Sleep?! I am TOO FREAKING EXCITED to sleep!!! See some of you soon - and will keep the rest of you abreast of our shenanigans as best as we can because we wish each and every one of you was going to be there with us!

xoxo

P.S.S. Apologies for random typos and sentence (or entire paragraphs) that make no sense. It's almost 2 a.m. and my liver is in training for the next few days. Taking one for Team Twitarded. WOOT!

  3. LMFAO!!! I'm only one day behind the panic you're in now! I leave early Thurdays morning and drive for 4 1/2 hours. WOO HOO!!! I can't believe it! It seems so surreal!

    SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!

See you in the corner of the Twilight Lounge in 48 hours! ;)

  5. As I drove to work this morning I was thinking what it would have felt like if I were actually heading to the airport to enjoy a bit of 'me' time with you all. Then I made the BIG mistake of trying to work out the whole time zone thing, i.e. how long the flight would take (10 hours maybe?), whether I'd be too jet-lagged to enjoy the long weekend (probably) and whether I could actually handle meeting you all in FFoooorrrrkkkkssss!!!

The answer to that last question was a resounding 'No', but not because of embarrassment or anything. No, purely because I think I'd have a coronary if I were going on this pilgrimage :-o

So that's why I'm staying at home (at least that's the reason I'm forcing myself to believe). But I'm there in spirit (and believe me, there'll be a lot of spirits!), and am looking forward to reading all about the fun and games you'll be having!

    Have fun Twitards!!!

  6. Thinking about you all coming my direction. It was a PERFECT Twilight day today : misty, drizzly, FOGGY on the Olympic Peninsula! It's supposed to clear up in Seattle tomorrow and be warmer - 70's --through Friday, but that doesn't mean it willl be sunny or warm in Forks. Forks had over 2 inches of rain the other day, while we on the eastern side of the Olympic Peninsula had 1.25, and Seattle had much less. It is almost always wet in Forks, and cool ...so enjoy it! It wouldn't be Edward's home any other way. I'll toast you from my kitchen this weekend, wishing I'd made the trip.

  7. Forecast is sunny thru Sunday! Poop. That means the vampires will not be out & about!

We will have to go "camping" in the forrest to find them, I suppose.

See you all Thursday evening! Fooorrrkkksss!!!!

  13. I have no idea what this post was supposed to say - could be my jumbled-up brain or yours... or both. 24 hours from now I will be listening to someone saying "Now boarding all rows, all rows please." YAY! See you crazy people there - safe travels to all.

  18. Seriously, I couldn't not be more mad that I'm not getting on a plane and heading back out there toot sweet. I will move to Seattle... some day. I fell in love.

Forks is great, you're going to have a friggin blast. Can't wait to read the post and hopefully see some pics!! Safe traveling by air, land and sea! Party on biotches :)

  19. Now, you see, if you had Edward around he would pack for you . . . and make your breakfast. Sigh.
    See you tomorrow!!
And, on a serious note, my "mom radar" was up last night worrying. The enthusiastic Forks partyers need to be careful about knocking back a few and then driving around the narrow, damp peninsula backroads in search of beaches, bonfires, vampires, or whatever. Let's be sure we have some designated drivers, people!!
    xoxo

  20. Don't worry, darlin, I did the same thing - I was up til three packing and took a brief nap to go to the airport at six!

I'M ALREADY HERE! Well, kind of. I'm in Seattle early to do some 'splorin' on my own. But you will be glad to know that I had DELICIOUS smoked salmon last night.

OH MY GOD I CAN'T HARDLY WAIT!!!!!!!!!!! Meeting Toefunny at the airport in about 24 hours!!!!

I'll be sitting on the tarmac in Edmonton waiting for the second leg of my journey to commence this time tomorrow, and I'll already be a zombie from the early start. Deb (red_bella) shouldn't have any trouble recognizing the shuffling yet manic zombie outside Victoria airport... :D

I must admit I'm a bit nervous to be meeting all of you tomorrow evening...though I'm sure once the initial shyness is past, we'll all get along like a house on fire.

Have a super time in Seattle, you three!
