O. EM. GEE! Breaking Dawn Part 2 Photos!!!

In typical Twitarded fashion, we're a day (or two) late and a dollar short. Surprise, surprise! Will we ever get our shit together enough to post actual breaking news? Meh, probably not. Good thing you guys don't rely on us for timely updates. I'm pretty sure I'm going to be late for my own funeral if that tells you anything.

But OMFGJMFHF, the new Entertainment Weekly has a spread of photos from Breaking Dawn Part 2 that makes my heart swell. Oh, and an article too. Part of me hates Scummit with the passion of a thousand burning suns for making us wait so long between movies. But the other part, the part that doesn't want this Saga to end, wants to tongue kiss every fat, hairy dude that works there for stretching it out.

So imagine my surprise, my elation, when I caught a glimpse of the new photos EW just released. I did a total Charlie-Brown-tippy-toe-happy-dance (well, at least in my head since physically doing that would've required me to get off the couch) when I saw this first one on the Tweeter a few days ago. My love and excitement for this upcoming movie has been reignited big time -- like mixing gasoline and gun powder together in a gallon milk jug and lighting it on fire -- reignited!

The return of the pea coat! Squeeeeee!! The pea coat is to Edward like the burlap hoodie cape-y thing is to Yoda.

Bad ass vampy Bella being an over protective mommy. I guess I would too if wolf boy was trying to put his furry mitts all over her.

She does look pretty freaking awesome as a vampire.

Daddy Edward... is that a Members Only jacket? So. Freaking. Cute!

This one... I just... can't... {{shudders}} Creepy. This will be the hardest part of the movie for me to get through.

Well hello Emmett's bicep. Nice to meet you.

So what do you think? Is this going to be a grand finale or what? What part are you looking forward to the most in this concluding installment? Personally, I'm looking forward to some cottage-shaking vamp sex!

  1. Ditto on the cottage lovin'! I'm ready to see our dear boy let go. And by "let go" I mean "hump the shit out of Vamp Bella" *swoons*

  2. Erm, I'm mildly surprised but... I actually like these pictures. Except for the Jacob/Renesmee one. I just can't quite reconcile that whole "imprinting" thing. It's just... creepy.

As much as I railed on this book, I'm actually looking forward to seeing BD2!!

Also trying not to think about it as being "the end"...

  3. I get excited because all of you all are excited. My love affair has been replaced with other stuff. But seeing you all giddy makes me truly happy.

    1. Second-hand giddy? We'll take it!

This did get me a little psyched, admittedly. I don't know it that's a pea coat though, but close enough. November will be here before we know it - where did the last three years GO?!

  4. Holy crow! as Bella would say....yeah, I did the whole squee heart-stopping moment thing too-he's back and beautiful! Can't wait to see his cottage bustin' happy trail go to work! I am already telling fam and friends that I will be unavailable for anything non-Twi-related for the month of November-maybe I should just take the whole month off? I want to see Bella attack Jacob after she realizes he's imprinted...on her baby! Go, Bella! I hope we see Smugward's grin of pleasure when her "connection" to wolfie is finally broken!

  5. EXCITED MUCH?

The one with Jacob and Renesmee grosses me out, mostly because the way he is sitting in that chair just SCREAMS Grandpa Jacob. Seriously. Could you come across any more as an old perv?

PEACOAT WIN!!! Super excited about that. Vampella looks amazing. I think it's gonna be fantastic, no matter if it's a shitshow or not, or what they do with Jasper's hair... I don't even care. This is all we're ever gonna get of these characters so I'm savouring every last drop.

And hello, biceps! So, kiTT's campaign for Shirtless Kellan didn't quite come off, but hey, I'll take it!

  6. These pictures reignited my passion for the series. Edwards revamped (pun intended) peacoat left me nostalgic for Twilight Edward. Then BAM his hairs longer, like a half bouffant and OMG he's just so, so... Twilight-Edward. The images are vibrant and ensnaring. Love it! I do agree with you about Jacob and Nessie. He looks like a perverted old man smiling at her that way. Honestly, LKW, I wasn't really stoked for the last part of BD; I didn't like the last half of the book. But these promising pictures may change my mind. Especially Bella. She looks amazing!

  7. Bella is not in my universe, but Edward with a wedding band - shmexy!

  8. I don't generally like big muscular men, I'm more of a just enough muscle to defend me but not so much I think you're compensating for other things kinda gal. Nevertheless, I'm totally turned on by Emmett right now. *shudder* mmmm delicious.

On the one hand, I'm glad scummit found a way around an overly mentally developed infant. On the other, she's clearly waaaayyy older than she is in the book and that kind of irritates me. I sort of thought they might go with a toddler with the "touch and know my thoughts" ability. And seriously, Jacob in the recliner, total perv. If he'd been sitting on a barstool and she happened to be standing nearby, better, still a little creepy but better.

  9. Loving the pictures....

Smexy Edward, Fierce Bella and Bulging Emmitt.

Ewww on the grandpa Jacob... come sit with me little girl pict.

  10. Wedding band. Enough said. SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Imprinting just doesn't freak me out, at all. I get where SM was going with it, and because it isn't a sexual thing for Jacob (as confirmed by mind reader Edward), it just doesn't seem weird. I think it's sweet. That pic, though, is very pervy grandpa. iick.

I can't wait! But WTH are we going to do afterward? *suuuuuper sad panda*

  11. Yes!! I'm with OnePhoenix--beefcake looks good only on Emmett. I think in part because of KL's nice face and curly hair, tho.

Hate the shirtjac with epauletts, tho -- which I think is what Edward is wearing, not a peacoat.

I can't tell that Bella looks vampy, but perhaps it's because KStew always looks even more vampy in real life....

I am interested in the gathering of the global vampires in BD2, hoping against hope that they are not so disappointing as the vapid Denali girls were. I am expecting Rami Malek to look wonderfully spooky.

Also interested to see how they do the shield effect.

Looking forward to BD2 sucking lots of Twitards East Coastward for a blowout last movie getogether.

Now I must go look at Emmett's bicep some more......

    1. We'll definitely all be in the city for this final {{{sniff}}} event! And I'm with you - if they wanted epaulettes, they should have had the common decency to bring back the pea coat (even though I read somewhere that he hated it lol).

  12. Did the peacoat shrink? I was going to hide on spoilers for this movie since when watching BD part uno, I felt like I already knew EVERYTHING about the movie going into it. Still might try to hide from as many spoilers on this one but we'll see how that goes.

  13. So, Bella becomes a vampire and all of a sudden her fashion sense changes?? Now she likes heels and dresses?

  14. I keep coming back just to see the pictures.

  15. Hey if anyone gets the EW cover with the 4 characters on it and you don't want it, I will adopt it :)

I am looking forward to it all. I loved that Bill Condon did with Part 1 and can't wait to see what he does in 2. I am also looking forward to all my get togethers with Twitards for this movie and all that goes with it!!

  16. I must say Vampella is gorgeous. I always believed those brown contacts they gave her ruined her eyes. Her natural eye color is so gorgeous. She look fab with the golden amber eyes. Jacob and Renesmee...just ick. Thank goodness Rensmee is freaking beautiful because I am going to need serious strength to endure the number of times I am going to hear, see, speak, and type her name in the coming months. Gah!

  17. its sad when you've read so much fanfic you can't even remember what's from the actual book and which is from fics. I will have to reread BD.

  18. The cottage-vamp-sex had better be good!
How gorgeous is that kid? She could totally pass for their daughter. I agree with @OnePhoenix & hope they include a few younger kids doing the face touching gift thing before she's suddenly 11 years old.
I also agree about Kellan but his arms are insane!
So Bella turned & discovered fashion?
Glad I'm not the only one creeped out by paedo Jacob, especially in that pic! Ewwwww!

  19. That is one beautiful kid, but I still don't want to type the name. It makes me stabby. Jenny Jerkface trapped on a train with a noisy eater stabby. Imprinting never really creeped me out (much) in theory. Until I saw that picture. Ewwwww...
Bella looks good, but why is her hair the same color as Edward's? Does becoming a vampire mean your hair has to match your mate's?

I was watching about ten minutes of Mary Reilly the other day, until I just couldn't take it any more. It was actually kind of comforting, because no matter how bad the Irish vampires' accents are, they can't possibly be as bad as Julia Roberts.

    1. Lol! Tom Cruise in that stupid movie Far and Away was worse though. Yeah, I hope the Irish vamps accents don't ruin the movie for me....

  20. I have to admit the pictures reignited my excitement for the last movie. But I'm going to be so sad that's it's over I may have to see it about 10 times in the theater. I really liked one of the pictures that was released on the web but wasn't in the issue. It's where Renesmee (*shudder*) is peeking out from behind Bella and Edward and both are in front as if protecting her. *Sigh*

  21. Oh how could I forget that pile of crap?! Kidman's wasn't much better. And then there was Daryl Hannah in that really stupid High Spirits thing. Pierce Brosnan's isn't great either considering he was born about 5 miles from my house. Is it really that difficult?
