The Not-About-Comic-Con Post

So I was going to write something about Comic Con and repost some of the awesome pics and interviews from the epic Breaking Dawn II promo-a-thon but let's face it - you can find ALL of that over at ROBsessed and they do it much better than us. Also you might have noticed that it's a few days (or so) past the appropriate, timely window for this and as usual, we don't have our collective pilfering-footage act together.

YOU know where you can find frame-by-frame footage of every word I uttered at Comic Con!
Don't be a thief. I'm watching you.

Also my girlfriend is super-hot and  workin' it, which is why I am making this silly face off in the distance behind her. WOO!

But pre-Comic-Con extravaganza, I DID find this lovely slo-mo video (at ROBsessed, natch) which reminds me why I still care about all of this to begin with (ok one of the reasons why).

Please enjoy:

Did you have a fave Comic Con moment or interview? Did you go? Do you have any tales to tell about running into a half-nekkid RPatts at 3 a.m. at the hotel ice machine? Make up your best fake and or wistful story in the comments! Just remember this isn't Penthouse Forum, please. Usually. OK who am I to say it can't be naughty...

  1. Forget what she said. Remember, it sez at the top, if you're not 18, go home!

Please! Somebody make up a smexy story about a half-nekkid Rob at the ice machine at 3:00 a.m. - something worthy of Penthouse Forum!

Or, if you have any links to the seven minutes that those of us who had to stay home might enjoy, please figure out a secret code and share with your sistahs! Eh?

  2. Kristin got bewbs! She looked...Wow! Until I got to her high tops. I'm all for comfort, but you aren't 14 anymore. Maybe a whimsical ballet flat? *Hides from KStew's fans*

Everything was disgusting with cute. Kinda sad that this is the last time the will be there rep'ing Twilight.

    1. I'm definitely bummed - this is the trail of sad that leads up to me snot-sobbing after BDII viewing...

  3. I was there, but was too afraid to get my camera out. I was convinced it would be posted by now, but all I've seen on YouTube is the first 28 seconds (which has been pulled already). Oh wait, here is 1:11 of it, but it's such bad quality it's hardly watchable but you get the idea.

Synopsis: It was just like the book, but WAY shorter and only Edward and Bella were there. I was kind of sad about that.

    1. Only Edward and Bella??? Hmmm...

And I would also be to afraid to try to film on the sly.

  4. Oh boy, yes it is videos just like that one that remind us just how sexy Mr. Pattinson truly is & why we have all fallen down the Robsessed rabbit hole.

    1. She looks like she borrowed a bra from Sookie or someone else on True Blood. (I almost said "Snookie" but it's not that bad lol)

  6. I wish I had a link to the BD footage for you cause I thought it was absolutely wonderful!! Honestly, I felt the Twi magic. Can't wait to see the whole movie.

My fav Comic-con moment: I won a raffle to a meet & greet with Rob, Kristen, Taylor & Mackenzie!! I'll eventually get around to blogging about it at TwiBite, but suffice it to say that Rob is the most mesmerizing man on the planet and I literally went speechless when he looked into my eyes and smiled :)

  7. I am living vicariously through everyone where SDCC is concerned. I've been combing the blogs just to get my fix, and it has been goooooood. It's sad that this was the last go 'round, but all good things, or some shit.

Sidebar: I can't wait to see Rob in a wig...and then throw things at the screen because Scummit uses dyed dental floss to make their hairpieces.

    1. It's the last movie so we can simultaneously act badly in the movie theaters, right? Like, we could totally do a Rocky Horror Picture Show thing during BD2.

Please tell me someone knows what I'm talking about because I have no idea.

  8. I agree with Lindsay... living vicariously. Thanks to all those who have emailed with amazing tales of meeting and photographing and snuggling up to our Twilight crew!

  9. Oh my gosh, So I went. It was great... but the really great story was that night. I forgot to bring my Ambien (I have terrible insomnia). After staring at the ceiling for an hour, I decided to get a glass of water. The tap was warm though, so I realized I needed ice. If you give a mouse a cookie, right? So, at 3A.M. I slipped on a robe and tiptoed over to the ice machine. My bucket is about half way full of ice when someone walks up next to me to get something out of the vending machine. I turn to give a polite smile, and IT'S ROB!!! I was about to just lower my head and walk back to my room, but I realized this was my chance.
"The machine doesn't take bills, I tried it earlier," I say.

"Brilliant, I don't have any change," he says back to me as he rolls his eyes.

"I have some back in my room if you need some. It's no big deal." Please take the bait, please take the bait! I think to myself.

"You don't mind?" He raises his eyebrows at me seeming to be surprised by my generosity.

"Seriously, not a big deal. I'm just down the hall. I have a bunch of quarters." I nod back in the direction of my room. This was one of those moments where I really wish I was a tidier person. My room was a mess.

"Great, thanks," he replies as he follows me back to my room. His accent was so dreamy, I couldn't help but smile to myself.

Okay, I started it, someone else can continue it. :)

  10. I have nothing to add to Kara's story sorry.

I was at Comic Con again this year and loved it. My favorite part was actually finding NorCalTwitard in Hall H to sit with her for the panel. Last year I sat alone so it was wonderful to have a Twitard to share the last panel with me. While I know it was a great panel soooo many other things happened after it with other panels and things that I can't really remember it LOL. I will have to go through my pics and see what I can recall.

I did go to the Nead HQ Twilight panel and that was fun. It was Peter, Kellan, Ashley and Jackson. It was the first time I got to see Kellan and I enjoyed getting to know him a little more.

Some of my favorite parts were the 10th Anniversary Firefly panel, the Nerd HQ Doctor Who panel that we got into last minute for standing room only, but the best part... seeing all my friends and getting the best hugs.
