If Trailers Were Honest

Remember when the Twilight trailer came out and we all huddled around our computers and watched it over and over again? Okay, maybe only Snarkier Than You and I did that. Or you guys are just lying and don't want to admit that you watched it on repeat, clutching your heart and sighing at every second Edward was onscreen.

I know you, people. I know how many times you watched it. Don't you fucking lie to me.

That trailer was straight up magical. There will never be another trailer (not even the other Twilight trailers) that made me as excited for a movie as that original Twilight trailer.

Hell, it was better than the movie.

Anyway, ML sent this to me last week and I watched it a bunch of times too, but I didn't get the tingles or anything.

I laughed my ass off instead.

Not only do I love Twilight, I love things that make fun of Twilight. Because, it's hilarious.

  1. LMFAO!! Troy Palomalu! Stares! Even more stares! Imma stick up for SM. Shes not a sh*tty author. The damn thing is written in the "voice" of a 17yo, and we were all enraptured by it, and I don't hear anyone accusing Kathryn Stockett of being a terrible writer just because she wrote in the voice of her characters. ANYWAY. The other 99% of this I loved! And now I want to go watch Twilight again, in all its emo, blue-tinted glory.

  2. Me too! Just re-read, re-watched for the whatever-th time, & i continue to be enraptured! and truly, the staring gets me "aahhhing" every time...doesn't that just point to how mesmerizing Rob is, that he could make me moist & swoon-y by just staring through the fog of those damn painful contacts? It just proves that his eyes are fucking lethal to vaginas everywhere despite the wearing of a "cloaking device"!!!! but yes,i thought this was hilarious in spite of the jealous stab at SM-in my lifetime of reading everything I can get my hands on, not one book has ever EVER had me from the first few pages like this one....not even kidding...sometimes i think there was a Twilight-shaped void in my brain from birth, just waiting for this..and, I have no other rational explanation for what has happened to my life in the last few years since i read it for the first time, saw the movie for the first time, found Twitarded for the first time, started carrying a mini-E in my purse everywhere I go for the...wait, never mind!

  12. OMFG - Loved it. Stares, not smarter enough for the hunger games, not creepy. LOL.
Even though the first movie had the lowest budget - it still had that "it" factor that the others didn't have. I think that's due to the female director focusing on the chemisty and the beginning of "it" for Rob & Kristen. -Karen in Maine
