The Walking Dead Season 3: Can You Stand the Wait?

*Possible spoilers if you haven't seen seasons 1 and 2*

When season two of The Walking Dead ended earlier this year, I felt like a hole had been left in my life. My Sunday nights had no meaning -- except to signal the end of the weekend and the fact that it was back to work in the morning. Especially, if you remember as clearly as I do, the way last season left us hanging.

Who was that caped crusader toting around a couple of armless, leashed walkers? What was that facility shown off in the distance? How would our ever dwindling group of survivors escape getting their faces eaten off while they waited for season three to start? (I mean, shit, it's been months since we left them fending for their lives at some makeshift campsite. I worry about them.)

All burning questions, I'm sure. Comic Con treated us to a four minute sneak peak of season three that did not disappoint. Frankly, now I'm even more excited than ever for this show to get the fuck back on my television right now. Dammit.

If you haven't already seen this trailer... enjoy the rotting zombies and suspense! And try not to think about having to wait until October 14th for the new season to start.

  1. *Spoiler-ish but not too bad*

I was just thinking about how much I miss my Sunday night obsession! I think it was last week that they had a Talking Dead Season 3 Preview Show and I just caught it. I flove Chris Hardwicke, and I missed his adorkableness so it was perfect timing. It def rekindled my zombie killing fire. All of the insights and peeks into the new set stuff...AMAZEBALLS.

Especially now that Michonne is in it! She is so fucking BAD ASS. I haven't read the graphic novels, but everyone I know who has read them has been waiting very impatiently for her character to get into the tv show. She makes me think of Senna. Super intimidating Amazon-like QBIC with a katana. Fuckin' A. I can't wait to see what kind of fuckery she and Andrea get into.

    WALKING DEAD!!!!!!!!!

    1. I was unaware that character was called Michonne. I must research further... she's so intriguing.

  2. I'll confess that I don't usually watch stuff like this because of the spoiler-y nature but HFS I am glad I made an exception! I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS TO START AGAIN!!!

Should be just in time to console me after True Blood wraps up their season (and LKW I don't know what shows you watch but I think there are TOO MANY good shows on Sunday nights! True Blood, Breaking Bad, Newsroom (is that what that new show is called" Because it's great but I can never remember lol) and a couple others. If I could afford Showtime I would add "Weeds" to that list.

  4. I seriously just watched my DVR'd season 1 and 2 this week and then saw this post last night. We are on the same wave length LW.
WHY MUST WE HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL OCTOBER!!! It's so effing far.
What make me sad too is that I'm turning in my DVR box today for a different one so I will lose the episodes. It's a sad day.

  7. I cannot WAIT for this Show!! I've been meaning to get the graphic novels for ages now because I don't want to read them on my Kindle. I've heard about Michonne though. BAD ASS.

Breaking Bad is keeping me busy for now but... NEED zombies!!

  8. The Hubs is reading the actual comic series now and is LOVING it. He says it's totally different than the show and is wondering why they strayed so much from the original story. Amazon is selling the comics in big-ass volumes, I think the first one is the first 27 volumes or something.

When we got the big ass book, I stupidly went to the last five pages, soooooo I may have spoiled something reeeeally big. :( Sad face. Oh well, I love the series and I can't freakin wait!
