If you've been following Twitarded for a little while, or been anywhere in the Twidom for a while or maybe even if you've only seen Twilight once, you're likely aware that Bella is...twitchy. And blinky. And stammery. Enough to make a Twilight movie drinking game that will land you in the ER if you are not careful--i.e. doing a shot every time Bella blinks, twitches, or stammers will have you under the table by about the twenty minute mark, and you will only make it that far if you have been practicing and have a pretty well-developed tolerance for liquor.
We've joked around about having a "Do Your Best Bella" contest here at Twitarded because it's just so much fun to imitate the twitching and stuttering for some reason (this might be something we do live in Forks - I won't name names but some of us have already been practicing). Admit it: it's a blast! But the other day I was over at Malicious Mandy's Mind and came across a short video of Kristen Stewart being asked some totally awkward questions (and walking off when they ask about "Edward") at Sundance and holy crap she's totally doing her best Bella [note: she nails it]!
When I first watched that vid I was thinking that KStew was tossing in a pinch of Robert Pattinson and had CLEARLY picked up his compulsive hand-running-through-the-hair thing, but after doing a bit of research (all in the name of science, mind you) I came to the conclusion that the two of them have always shared "the hair thing" - it is probably their irrepressible need to run their hands through their manes that brought them together in the first place. It must be like some sort of young-famous-uber-hottie mating call - if they were birds they would be totally fluffing their feathers but since they are not they do this instead (the bit at about :14 where they do it in sync s-l-a-y-s me for some reason!) -
For those of you who may have missed the nexus of the "Do Your Best Bella" - here's the inspiration (I should warn you that then ending is...harsh-ish but if you haven't seen it, you must watch this!) -
