Worst. Twilight. Blogger. Ever.

I fully expect the fandom-at-large to ask me for my badge and gun after this post. (What? You guys aren't all armed? Suckers.) I have a confession to make. I ask for your mercy because, frankly, you h00rs are scary en masse.

I haven't bought Eclipse yet.

I know! I know!

There. I said it. I don't own the DVD everyone else has watched on a constant loop since midnight Friday. To make matters worse, I didn't even know when the DVD was slated for release. I had to ask on Twitter. (Hit me anywhere but the face. Or the stomach. Or my arms. Just don't fucking hit me, okay?) Last week kicked my ass, took my name and left me monosyllabic in the corner somewhere. I don't really remember the weekend. All I know is Sunday night I carted three (count them—3) loads of clothes from the car because our schedule was so packed we were changing clothes on the fly between activities. [Note to the people in that parking garage: I'm terribly sorry. Also, you owe me $20 for the show. I wish I was kidding.]

I'm hoping I get a chance to make a Tar-jay run this week. Er, sort of hoping. The thought of venturing into a Target before Christmas makes my eye twitch. I'm thinking of driving up to the front of the store, blaring my horn & yelling "SPARKLE PEEN!" out the window until someone brings me the DVD.

Bring me the head of Edward Cullen. No, the other one.

I had grand-ish plans for the release. I was going to watch the first two movies, venture to the store, cut some bitches to get my copy and watch Eclipse at least twice in a row. Unfortunately, I can't even do the first part of my super exciting amazeballs plan. I was able to watch New Moon exactly one time last year before the boy dropped the DVD, stepped on it and left a huge gash across it. Now only the first twenty minutes will play. On the bright side—Edward never leaves.

"Bella, we're leaving."
"You're not going anywhere, bitch."

I didn't know it was possible to fail this badly at being a Twilight fan. Sure, I fail at life all the time (I'm looking at you, unfolded laundry), but I can normally pull my act together for some glittery vamp action.

They can take our lives, but they'll never take our sparkle peens!

I don't want to name names [cough] JennyJerkfaceandSnarkierThanYou [cough], but I'm not the only one who hasn't purchased their copy yet. When Twilight was released on DVD, Jenny Jerkface skipped town for the fuckawesome SXSW music festival in Texas. Snarkier Than You was not happy. At all. Fast forward a year to the New Moon DVD release. JJ skips town again for SXSW. I think JJ and I are both still shitting out of all the new assholes STY ripped us. You'd think those two h00rs would have been first in line to purchase their new movies together, but you'd be wrong. Losers.

Now it's your turn to spill. How many times have you watched the DVD already? Is anyone else brave enough to own up to the fact that they haven't purchased it yet? I want the dirt on the commentary. I hear Rob talks about bears and says the word "pussy." [Note to self: pick up a puppy pee pad because I will ruin the couch otherwise.]

  1. Haha, I actually just got mine today. But I'll admit to have seen it a million times already not *cough* legally *cough* of course.

  2. Last week, when everyone was talking about their anticipation of getting the DVD, I thought to myself, "Meh. I'll just ask for it for Christmas." So Monday rolls around, and I go to my inbox at work and THERE IT IS, my copy of Eclipse. I apparently preordered it in like 2008 and forgot.

I still haven't watched it. It's laying here in bed next to me, feeling awkward because it's still in a half-opened cardboard envelope.

  3. Yes, I got it Saturday morning with a bunch of other Twitarded h00rs. :) I've seen it 3 times since, but only once entirely with commentary. The hubs will tolerate the movie, but the commentary bores him. That's probably good because otherwise I'd be jizzing my pants over RPattz with him right next to me.... That'd be bad. But damn, his personality and adorkable-ness kills me!

I'm not suggesting taking you to the stakes, we all have lives. But you have one week. One week to catch up, otherwise your blogging title will be revoked. ;)

    I keed, I keed.

  4. JSYK, Tar-jay has a display of the DVDs right by the registers, so you actually can run in and run out with it, quickly. I know because I did just that on Sunday, in between a viewing at the funeral home and the holiday party for my husband's company. Of course, I haven't watched it yet. But I have it. Don't twitch: it's easy.

  5. I got mine Saturday morning... no need to be out of the house in 10 degree weather at midnight for a DVD that will still be there in the morning.

You need it solely for the commentary. Not only does Rob say pussy but he says boobs... TWICE!

hmmm a New Moon where Edward never leaves??? I think my copy will be meeting the floor and my foot real soon :)

  6. Shhh. I can one up you. I never even saw the movie in the theater. Crazed-working-mom-fic-writer I am.

  7. don't feel bad i only bought mine today and i only ventured out because i am getting a bad cold and will likely be in bed all day tomorrow.(i need to be at the adviser's office at the college tomorrow but my ass will be more kicked by illness) what's worst is i have seen eclipse once, at the midnight showing. And the blubay that i bought is sitting on the couch next to me still in the best buy bag in it's wrapper. i have had it since 1:30 today and haven't watched it, but in my defense my body hates me.

  8. @Barburella--I didn't say I haven't seen the movie since it left the theaters, I just said I don't own the DVD. *cough cough cough*

@Charla--I'm a little skered of you. It's always the quiet ones. I'll buy it! Soon(ish). I promise.

  9. Well @AGirlintheSouth and I watched it Saturday night. It wasn't planned like that, it just happened since I had dumped my teacups with her all day and I offered to stop off at Target, purchase and watch together with the children. We win Mother of the Year awards. Commentary from that evening alone consisted of snarky comments such as:

    "can I get a refund?"

"wow, this really is a shit movie"

"Oscar worthy performances from all around"

"What's a Virgin? (children). "A British airline" according to AGITS

"Rob looks ugly in most of the outside shots"

"Ssshhh everyone be quiet, it's the proposal scene"

"Rob's sideburns are really distracting and in a bad way"

"Bella, where is your darn coat?"

We are watching it again on Monday for our scheduled viewing. I mean, it will be better second time around won't it?!

p.s. TK laughed out loud at Edward never leaves comment
p.p.s nice to see Braveheart featured in ur post. Thinking of me always except during sex.

  10. hey there TK - although i bought my dvd a few days ago at target, i haven't watched (listened to) the commentary yet. i totally want to but am so fkg tired when i get home from work.

plus i can't figure out the dvd player upstairs and am too embarassed to ask my husband to help me even though he left me written directions but i lost them. durrr!

  11. just what Kassie said... Rob says boobs twice. That. made my entire day. And the way he says it all loudy and obnoxious makes it even better!

So here's my little story. I pre-ordered mine in October. and then. Saturday I went and bought it in the store anyways. because I'm too freaking impatient. and then it came in the mail yesterday and it wasn't blu-ray. it was the collector's dvd edtion. anyone want to buy it? *facepalm*

    ReplyDelete
  12. "Bring me the head of Edward Cullen. No, the other one." Yeah I just pissed myself...thanks TK! :)

I stood in line Friday night surrounded by screaming teenagers (some of them were young Twitards in the making. Foul mouthed, gutter minded little tramps...I liked them!)to get my grubby paws on Eclipse.

Since then I have watched it four times. Three out of those four have been with the commentary on because it's fuck-awesome! Actually from now on I will probably only watch it with the commentary on...yeah it's that good! Something about his accent and his total adorkableness make me want to mount him and ride him like my life depends on it! *Ahem*...moving on!

The Precious does in fact say pussy, and talk about boobs, bears, and blueberries. He also does a mean impression of Yogi bear. I fucking love him...that is all!

    xo

P.S. The puppy pee pads would be an excellent investment prior to watching the commentary! I should have been better prepared!

    ReplyDelete
  13. I bought mine Saturday night & have watched it only once. I still haven't watched the extras yet!!

    ReplyDelete
  14. And is it just me or does anyone else want to see Rob do a comedy of some sort??? Would he not own it??? Just sayin'

    ReplyDelete
  15. @ Twi Nurse...you and me lady..on the same page. I say we write him a comedy script throw in a few nude scenes and become big hollywood muckity mucks.

The only way I will watch this movie now is with the commentary. As soon as he said "dripping with spread" at the beginning I was done for...then the pussy and the boobs and bluebuurries(teehee). And he gets sooo uptight during the kissing scenes it's utterly adorkable. I really really should have had puppy pads when I watched it I had to pause it a bunch to hit the lav so I wouldn't pee allover mom's couch. Mom walked through the room at one point and said "he has a british accent...oh my." and fanned herself. Now she's reading Twilight- another one dazzled by the power of Rob.

  17. Oh for fucks sake, I had to delete that last attempt at a comment because it was riddled with typos...not from shitty grammar, but from a shitty lap top keyboard that has sticky beer spilled in it from LONG ago... Anyhoo....

I knew this was a TK post within the first 2 sentences. Odd how that happens. Granted you all have your own "voice" so to speak...no pun intended, but I really can tell who's posting within about two sentences. In fact I guarantee I could win a contest or some shit...for knowing who's who right away.

Moving on...YOU SUCK! You're going to Twi-hell...............jk. Who cares! I did however roll out of bed around 10am on Sat morning and drove half awake to Target to nab mine, but I didn't do anything fancy for the release other than drink and get high (what?!) and watch it with my parents and Sis. SHIT talk about a run-on sentence! Truthfully, I sometimes feel like a HUGE BLOGGY FAIL because I didn't go to, or throw some big epic Eclipse DVD release party. Truthfully, I'm just sorta antisocial and would rather do things alone, or with my immediate and crazy small family ;).

As for you my dear, it will make it all the better for when you do finally get to sit down, get drunk and absorb it.

    Right?!

    xo J

  18. First of all, you should be scared of Charla...she's feisty!

Secondly, what the F?!?!? Okay, I'm semi joking. I just opened my DVD for the first time tonight and only because @amandakmelby called me a bad fan. But then I read over on Trixieandtess' blog that Trix hasn't opened hers either. And now seeing as you h00rs haven't either, I feel semi better. I did watch it at Charla's this weekend but have been lagging on watching it again and with the commentary.

Ohhh the commentary. That's almost better than the movie it's self which says a LOT. I swear Rob hates Bella. And you can totes tell that they are head over heels for each other because Kristen giggles at everything Rob says and he calls her sexy at one point. The part where he says "boooobs" is hilarious. And "hey hey boo boo!". Also I had to rewind the part right after Bella and Jacob kiss on the mountain top because of what Rob says about Bella's shirt in a "jacob" voice. Just remember to look for that part. I died.

I'm really hoping one of you blogs your thoughts about the commentary after watching it. :) now GO GET IT!!!

  19. I still have not bought it. I suck. BUT @Kitty_Elvis is coming over Saturday night to watch with me. So I guess I need to get off my ass and go buy it. Ha! Twitards unite!

    ReplyDelete
  20. I actually haven't gotten my copy yet either. I told the hubs to buy it for me for Christmas. I told him the exact one that I want. So help me, if he buys the wrong one, someone, or should I say something, is getting castrated!

WV: caleve, short for calever, as in "if he buys the wrong version, I will use a calever to cut off his favorite appendage."

  21. you aren't alone. I bought it, but haven't even removed the security seal yet.

LOL@ "I'm thinking of driving up to the front of the store, blaring my horn & yelling "SPARKLE PEEN!" out the window until someone brings me the DVD." and "Bring me the head of Edward Cullen. No, the other one."

  24. I did get my copy and went right for the deleted/extended scenes. (Didn't miss much with those.) On to the Robsten commentary. It was cute on occasion. Rob is funny, but geez Kristen get a grip on yourself girl. She giggles at EVERYTHING he says. I found that very annoying. There were several spots where there was just dead silence and I wondered if they zoned out and forgot they were supposed to be giving us commentary. Rob surprised me with his reserve, Kristen impressed me with her strong defense of Bella. Glad that Rob had the same take on the Jake/Bella bike getaway scene as I did.

Haven't watched anything else on the DVD yet, but will watch the other commentary with SM and Wyck and will get more insight into the movie hopefully.

  25. I would comment, but @laxplays already said it all....

but TK, I at least OWN it...pshhhfhdh -so do you really....just with russian subtitles, slightly out-of-focus and some guy walking in front of the camera mid-movie. ;D

  26. I was GOING to pre-order at Amazon - I had it in my cart and everything! - but then I figured it would be faster to go and get it at a store around here... Aaaaand then I didn't have time over the weekend to make it happen (I blame LKW for coming to my neck of the woods - I HAD to go tackle-hug her!). Also, the idea of going to Walmart in December scares the bejeebus outta me... I'll go today...really...or tomorrow, at the latest... GAH! Do they have home delivery???

    ReplyDelete
  27. P.S. and, uh, what @Barburella said... (thanks you, friends who are more tech-savvy than I - you know who you are!) : )

  28. Since i pre-ordered it from Amazon -- that means I don't have it yet... Stupid fraking Amazon...

    ReplyDelete
  29. Wow, and I thought *I* was behind. I pre-ordered from Amazon and got the DVD on Monday. Seemed like I was the last person to watch the commentary. These comments make me feel like a winner.... suckas! hehe.

For all of you who are delaying - the commentary is SO worth it. Brave Target or order online, put off folding the laundry/running errands/feeding your children, and just watch it! You'll be so glad you did.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I have the shittiest story. I pre-ordered it several months ago because I am a spaz. I went on vacation with the fam and was anticipating it's arrival upon my return. But no DVD. I saw it at Target and Wal-Mart but forced myself not to buy it because it was coming, dammit. Well, it arrived yesterday and it's the SINGLE DISC EDITION! Who the fuck buys that? That's for, like, Curious George, not Sparkle Peen. No commentary, no deleted scenes, no NUTHIN except a really sub-par movie.
But of course I watched it. Didn't realize it was the single disc until I had already opened it. SIGH Going to give it to my cousin and go get the Special Edition today.

    ReplyDelete
  31. No, I suck too, I haven't bought it yet. Something about, oh, holiday prep, activities, work . . .you know, RL. Also, hubby said something about getting it for Hannukah, but that's now come and gone and NO DVD! I know it will be awesome when I do see it, though. Enjoy, ladies!

  32. still looking for my vampDecember 9, 2010 at 10:04 AM

Mine actually just arrived. My friend bought me a copy and delivered it to my door. Haven't opened it yet

Sometimes I wish RL would just step out of the way and let me live in my little Twi-fantasy world!

Awesome. My word verification is unded

  33. I haven't bought it yet. I put it on my "wish list" for my office Secret Santa. Everyone here knows how much I luuuurve the Twilight Saga, so I'm fairly certain I'll get it next Thursday at our lunch/exchange. On the off chance that I don't, I have a Tar-Jay on my way home from work that night...I'll stop there...after I dispose of the body of my former Secret Santa.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I preordered it and it arrived Monday. I opened it, oggled the discs but haven't watched it yet. I originally wanted to watch Twilight & New Moon first but finding a block of time to do that is tricky. So I think I'll just have to nut up and watch Eclipse on its own this weekend. While enjoying my bottle of 'Twilight' wine. Seriously, my friend visited a winery recently and they have a wine called Twilight. Nothing to do with the franchise of course but whatevs. I'm to take a picture of me and mini E enjoying a glass and text it to her. However, she's not a Twitard so I'm not sure I entirely trust her not to use the pic to mock me mercilessly.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I think for many of us it is the curse of real life shit storm that is keeping us from meeting these deadlines of ours! RL has been sitting by quietly for the last year or two, scratching it's head, and now is finally standing up and saying "oh, no you DI-NT" and is finally making us do that other pesky important stuff first. I love our little universe. But I think that other universe may be righting itself.

And take a deep breath ladies -- it is OKAY>>>>> look at a robporn pic -- it is OKAY>>>> there is some therapy ffz style.

  36. Man... I already have the rifftrax :)

    ReplyDelete
  37. Well...I pretty much suck in this department. I still haven't gone to buy 'Eclipse'. I did go to a movie watching party on Saturday but left midway through the movie. I would have been fine if I didn't have to sit through 'Vampires Suck' first. I think I put my best effort into 'Twilight' honestly. I still haven't unwrapped & watched 'New Moon' from when I bought it. HAHAHAHA! I have seen 'Twilight' A LOT though. :-)

It sounds like everyone's been a little bit slow on buying this movie. Short on cashflow because of the Holidays?? Asked for it as a Christmas gift?? It's all good.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I did get my copy on Saturday, but this time I slept in. When New Moon came out, I made sure I was at Target as soon as they opened, but apparently there are no Twi fans where I live, so that was completely unnessecary. So, I finally got there around mid-afternoon, and it looked like there were only 3 or 4 copies gone. Or maybe they're just good at restocking. I don't really believe that though...because most of the employees don't ever do anything but stand around and chat. But I digress...

Went home and immediately listened to the commentary. Love, love, love it! Rob's accent just does me in. Yum! Favorite part was when he told Kristen her hair looked like Jennifer Aniston's. If I ignore the Aniston, it's like he's talking to me. That's right Rob, say my name! :)Since then I think I've listened to the commentary 4 times and watched the movie once. Meh, commentary's just better. And, I agree with those who've said Rob needs to some sort of comedy movie. That would be awesome!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Actually, my Twi-love has experienced a recent resurgence so I was ready to buy it Friday night, Sat. AM at the latest. Instead, I chose to contract some strain of the Black plague and lay in bed for 3 days praying for death. I crawled to Walmart Tues. night and was thrilled to see a display of DVDs right by the front door so I didn't spend the usual $50 minimum. Loved the movie, but haven't had time for the extras yet. Soooon.

PS - Are you as funny in person, TK? I think you need your own show. I'll rep you and take an inordinately large cut for myself, okay? Call me;)

    ReplyDelete
  40. I can't say shit. I just bought it yesterday, but went straight to commentary. Twice. Jesus on a unicycle it is fucking hilarious. Between Rob's IBS situation after eating too fast, his giggle fits, and hearing "pussy" come from that sweet, sweet mouth...And their flirty banter was just so hilarious. OH! And verification that they hate the wigs just as much as we do!

I watched the dvd twice at Lindz Nom Nom's dvd release party on Saturday. First with her group of Twi-friendly buddies, but they were loud, chatty, and NOT respectful of our need to watch every little second with rapt attention. Since I couldn't kick them out of a house that wasn't mine, I just waited til they got the fuck out then we hit play again. It was much, much better. Don't get between me and Edward again. Ya hear?

    ReplyDelete
  41. Fire me right along with you. I haven't bought it...I redbox'ed it to watch with my neighbor. Truth is, mama's broke as hell and can't come up with $20 for a dvd. Fucking Christmas shopping. Truth is, I don't actually own a legitimate copy of the first film. The only one I actually bought was New Moon, and that was technically paid for by my sister. So I'm a h00r and a terrible fan. I do plan on buying it for the commentary, but only the Rob-pussy-boob stuff. I hear the SM commentary is just her talking about how fabulous everything is. "Oh, this looks so WONDERFUL. Look how great they shot this. I want to dry-hump this scene because my sensitive Mormon sensibilities won't allow for penetration." Spare me, please. Just give me more Rob-pussy talk.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I'm waiting to get mine for Christmas! Then I'll watch it 100 times in a row. Or as many as my old DVD player can handle. Don't wanna be too much of a bitch to it while it's still holding on.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I have also failed as a twi-fan lately. The closest I have come to the Eclipse dvd was fondling it at tarjay before placing it back on the shelf with a mournful sigh, as all of my contact with anything twi-related has been cut off. In fact this post is the most I have read/seen of twilight in more than a week. Apparently, I was a bad wife and my twi-session has gone too far. And now I am also a failed twitard. Please don't revoke my membership, I don't think I could handle the rejection. :)

    ReplyDelete
  44. Bought mine Saturday - no special display or merchandise table or to-do of any kind, WTF Target??? Tho Eclipse was my fave film of the saga (only movie I've ever seen 3x in a theater;), only watched the DVD once...tried to do the commentary but wasn't in the mood for all that giggling (bah humbug?) I'll try again when I feel merrier!

BTW, love the Xmas banner...happy holz, Twitards!

Norcal, your post gave me a sad:( Don't let anyone take away your Twi-pleasure!!!

  45. BWAHAHAAH " On the bright side—Edward never leaves." That is too funny but I am sorry about your New Moon DVD :(

I bought it Saturday at Target after getting together with Living with Edward, Inotu and Team Six Pack. As of today, Thursday 12-9-10, it is still sitting wrapped and in the Target bag on my dining room table. I'll get to it when I get to it. I know how it ends LOL!!! I am very excited to watch the commentary since most people just raved about it but I just haven't had the time. I want to be sure I can invest the time and not be interrupted, so that might be in 4-5 years LOL!!!!

You are not alone TK and we are not taking your TwiCard - you are stuck with us - lucky you!

    ReplyDelete
  46. I'm so glad I'm not the only failure. The sad thing is I managed to buy NM the weekend it came out. I had been at SXSW all weekend and was, er, less than sober, but long-suffering Mr TK dropped my still drunk ass off at the Target on Sunday morning. I managed to stumble in, reeking of alcohol, tobacco & sin, my hands covered in club stamps. I vaguely remember pushing a small child who was blocking the NM display. HOW did I manage to get a DVD then, but can't find the time now?

    ReplyDelete
  47. @TK

You know how you managed to get NM even though drunk...It's because when people are drunk they get ideas in their mind & don't let them go. They're like pit-bulls! Drunk ass determination, that's what I say! You were going to get that movie whether you remembered actuall doing it or not! LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  48. So glad you posted this...gives me a place to rant about Scummit. Ready? Here goes...
So my friend goes to Tar-jay on Saturday & picks up a copy for me (cuz I'm on a road trip). She gets a Collector's edition dvd/blu-ray combo. I don't have blu-ray, but I figure, it says all of the special features are on it & maybe some day I will get blu-ray so I'll keep it.
I am having an Eclipse party THIS saturday (due to above mentioned road trip), so I didn't want to watch Eclipse yet so I decided to watch the special features. Well, guess what? There ARE no special features. WTF??? So, I watched up until the leg hitch scene with commentary (pussy must be some time after that), packaged it back up & headed out to Tar-jay to exchange it.
THEY say that since it has been opened, they can't take it back (fine). I say but there are no special features on it & it says that there are. THEY say that's probably the production company's way of getting you to spend more money by only putting the special features on the blu-ray side (which is false advertising as far as I am concerned).
So, if you have hung in long enough to read this whole thing...do you think that's bullshit? I'm thinking about taking it up with Scummit, but I'm afraid I may end up in jail or something (you know how they are).
Anyhoo...long story short (too late, I know), I bought the 2 disc edition & now have an extra Collector's edition. Anyone wanna buy it from me???
Planning on watching the special features tonight.
    Whew!

    ReplyDelete
  49. I was with Inotu, Dangrdafne and LivingwithEdward saturday for lunch to celebrate the release of the dvd. We couldn't meet up the night before and I'm STILL pissed that borders did not have their own edition or midnight release parties...seriously who wants to hang out at a walmart at mightnight? Not thanks! Anyway, toni very kindly bought my a copy of the target special edition (I would have gotten it on my own that day either way but it was a cool surprise :D)).

My copy sat next to my bed for two days, then I moved it to the shelf with the other dvd's because it was taking up precious space for placing drinks on my night stand....so um yea... I haven't actually watched yet...my excuse is that I've been too tired to stay awake through it. But one of these days I need to watch the special features and the commentary, I just need the time to actually set aside to do it. *crosses fingers for a blizzard* If we get some massive snow storms this year then I'll be snowed in with twilight :)

    ReplyDelete
  50. Haven't gotten my copy yet - but I get paid tomorrow and my daughter told me not to bother coming home if I don't have a copy with me... So, looks like I'll be getting it tomorrow.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Got mine last Saturday morning at Tar-jay as planned. Came home, watched the movie once through, then watched a second time with the comments, which, by the way, are hysterical. Almost spit my coffee out a few times. The things that come out of RPattz mouth - classic RPattz. He really had KStew giggling a lot. It was very endearing I thought. My daughter woke up half way through my second run and watched the rest with me including all the extra stuff.

Can't believe you ladies don't have a copy yet! Tsk, tsk, tsk. What are we gonna do with you?! Gah!

    ReplyDelete
  52. Poop happens...I too have totally seen it a million times "legally". I still risked life and limb to leave my house at 11pm so that I could drive 20mph in the snow and stand it line to buy it. Then I came home doing 15mph because it got worse out and stayed up until 3am to listen to Rob's commentary...I don't think you should feel bad TK...I mean it really it means that you have a life...I on the other hand have a disease.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I have watched it twice since I got it. That is a major inprovement on New Moon though, last month was the first time I watched New Moon without falling asleep. I must have tried at least ten times but I always fall asleep when Alice comes back.

  55. I haven't bought a "real" copy yet either...I did however hold it in my hand yesterday at Target and moaned out load. So much so that I caught the attention of an older woman. She just looked at me like I had shit on the floor or something.

I have had a "copy" since the 4th day of release but I will buy the true DVD because I must!
Especially for the commentary. Oh how I love to hear his voice...
    mmmmm

  56. I preordered the double DVD on Amazon, and got it in the mail on Tuesday. Haven't watched it yet. I'm a total fail, but I still love myself. Sort of...

  57. I haven't bought it but went to a friend's house on Saturday to watch the commentary. But Kristen's giggling was SO annoying we only lasted 10 minutes before switching to the regular movie. I wonder if Twilight fever has peaked? That would probably make Rob and Kristen happy! Although the major BD spoiler on Lainey definitely made me more interested.

  58. my hubby burned me a copy of it a few months ago. I watched it 4000 times and lent it to my mom who still has not watched it. I told her to keep it and buy me a new(legal) copy for Xmas.

My hubs is a weird one. He's totally cool with my Edward obsession. He has even bought me random Edward stuff like a reusable shopping bag, a blanket, a pillow case, and a 30th b-day cake, LOL.

  60. A little behind here, in many ways..
I haven't seen the movie... **cricket, cricket,..**
K, but I have a way to try and redeem myself, and it is this:
I have a projector in my living room that can make your lovely Edward 100 times bigger than life!! ..and am willing to get drunk and host a viewing party with as many hOOrs as can make it to this humble Edison, NJ hovel. What am I getting into? you ask? eh, I survived Foooooorks!!, so let's keep some memories fresh. We just need to figure out when.
Oh, and I still need to interview STY..

  61. I'm an overachiever. I ended up with three copies of the dvd. How?Of course I went out at midnight to my local Wal-Mart release "party". I won their trivia contest. (Yes, it was both my proudest and most embarracing moment. I, a 37 year old, beat out at least 40 12 year olds!) Well, my prize was a free dvd. It was just the movie w/out extra. Meh, I think I'll sell it on ebay. So when the carnage started at 12:01 am I grabed both the two disc dvd fan edition and the blue ray edition. I have a blue ray player but it isn't hooked up. I was determined to watch the commontary as soon as I got home. So I shelled out the extra money. Plus I needed the Forks dvd for my collection. Yah, yah I know. I have a problem. I may not be able to afford gas in my car next week but I've got the best Twilight collection going on!

  62. I don't have the movie yet either, I have asked for it for Christmas and I know that I am getting it. Otherwise I would have been to the store already. My Christmas copy is even in my house (my husband got it for me) I'm just not allowed to watch it until Christmas. AAAAHHHHH!!!! I have no patients so this really sucks!
