Peter Facinelli Has a Hot Date With...Twitarded?! This Could Be EPIC!!!

OK Twitards, here's the scoop!

Most of you probably already know that Jenny Jerkface and I are going to an early-ish showing of New Moon in New York City next Thursday evening. It's a benefit for Alex's Lemonade Stand being put on by Volturi Ventures/TwilightMOMS. There are going to be some raffles and fund-raisers to help raise additional donations, and we're really looking forward to the entire evening [note: this is the understatement of the millennium!!!] ! I am also THRILLED that the event specifically requires anyone under the age of 18 be accompanied by a duct-tape wielding parent or guardian... We don't have one of those swanky 21+ theaters where you get a leather armchair and cocktails throughout the night... Maybe we should head to the Pacific Northwest for the release of Eclipse? Anyway, this is the next best thing in this neck of the woods. And it's for a good cause - bonus!

Last week, I got an email from Lorabell/His Crooked Smiles over at TwiCrack Addict. She noted that in addition to all the cool stuff being raffled off that night, there is an auction. The winner of said auction gets Peter Facinelli! Ok, not entirely--I guess when it's all said and done, we don't get to keep him and he gets to return home to his cute wife and adorable kids, BUT the winners of the auction DO get to have dinner with Dr. Carlisle Cullen himself! Lorabell suggested that we bid... And win! After that, bloggy mayhem ensues, natch.

I shot down the idea pretty quickly simply because I am poor. Well, not "poor poor," necessarily (whatever that is these days), but I certainly don't have "win dinner with Peter Facinelli" kinda dough. Yesterday I read the details, though - and for the first time, I felt hope... The auction is limited to people attending the movie/event THAT NIGHT. That's IT. We wouldn't be competing with the masses on eBay or whatnot, it's just one room of people. And I think we can take this one for the team... Team Twitarded! With your help, natch!

I don't have kids, and neither does JJ, but you don't need to be a mom or a parent to get behind a charitable foundation like Alex's Lemonade Stand (fwiw, I also donate to St. Baldrick's, another awesome foundation devoted to the fight against children's cancer). I might be an evil bitch sometimes (just ask JJ!), but I can be reduced to tears in under two seconds when I read the stories of these brave children and the families, friends, and caregivers who are working together to find a cure for cancer. If you haven't read the story of Alexandra "Alex" Scott, the founder of Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALFS), you should. 'Nuff said.

But back to how this is an EPIC opportunity for Twitarded and TwiCrack Addict to serve up everything you've ever wanted to know about Peter Facinelli but were afraid to ask! And then some... We want this. B-a-d. The opportunity so sit down with PFach! Us!! And therefore vicariously ALL of YOU - and talk to him about such polite-company dinner-worthy topics such as "Has Robert Pattinson seen "the panties??" - "When is he going to wear his NEW Stoli shirt?!" - "Is Breaking Dawn one movie or two?" - "Is your ass really that awesome or was that retouched in post-production???" is sooooo close I can taste it. And it tastes like victory. Victory and a big juicy steak and something chocolate-y for dessert.

So here's what we're gonna do: JJ and I will put the first $100 into the kitty. Lorabell and TwiCrack Addict have offered to contribute an undisclosed sum from their bloggy coffers. But we need YOU to do this thang... Back when we HAD to have FSE but would have been turned out onto the streets by our S/Os had we purchased any more Twi-merch, you came through for us. People were actually disappointed that they weren't able to donate prior to us taking the donation button down. Well, my friends, now is your chance - and this time, you'll get a warm fuzzy "I did something REALLY good today" feeling rather than maybe wondering what sort of trouble we were going to get into with our cardboard standee. Hell, maybe we'll bring FSE to the dinner - both of them, even - I am sure they'd be welcome, right???

One more thing I NEED to add - and PAY ATTENTION - this is IMPORTANT! We have NO idea whatsoever how much money it will take to win this auction. If someone in the audience has deep pockets and really wants to it, they might beat us. Regardless of whether we win the auction/dinner or not, all the money we raise (as well as our personal contributions) WILL BE DONATED. We might contribute directly to ALFS or go through The Twilight Fandom Gives Back (more on this awesome foundation to come soon - and they also donate $ to ALSF), but no give-backs. It's a great cause, dinner with Peter Facinelli or no. And can I just take a moment to dote on Peter Facinelli? We've written about his tireless efforts to support the fandom and various charitable endeavors before, and swooned over his generally being a fantastic all-around dude, and he just doesn't quit. Thanks, Peter! Looking forward to spending some quality time with you reeeaaaalllly soon...

Clicky on the image below to contribute! We'll keep you updated on our progress... Have a question you want to ask? Leave it in the PayPal comments! As an added incentive, we'll send Twitarded buttons to anyone who donates $10 or more (make sure you leave an address)! But every dollar counts - just a buck will make a difference - all those dollars add up! Aaaaaand GO!

Click on Peter's hot blue butt to go make a donation! Er, or anywhere else on the above link..

[Note from JJ!] So, there you have it. We need YOU to help us win the dinner so we can be completely socially awkward around Dr. Cullen! During dinner! I really hope that at least one (or five) cocktails are included so we can blabber endlessly about how cool all of our readers are and how very, very... chagrined we are about those mother fucking panties. Because without those cocktails, we'll probably end up giggling and I may or may not soil myself from the stress. Or tell Mr. Facinelli how nice his ass looks in THAT picture...

P.S. A HUGE thank you to the wonderful, talented, and hilarious ladies over at TwiSoup for their help with creating the awesome graphic in this post! We bow down to at the feet of their techy superiority... Go visit them--if you haven't seen their "Dirty Seuss" post, you are missing out!!

  2. DONE!! Good Luck Ladies..

Your really gonna ask him about the panties?!
Gah! I'd rather stay blissfully ignorant... But go for it... I dare you to whip them out and put them on your head!

I've got a pair of Mini E panties on the go...

  3. I can't think of a better cause - or better people to win this dinner date. Question, if you win, would all FOUR (Twicrack, Lorabell) also get to go with you guys? Or would it be just the 2 of you? Either way, I'm, er, behind you 100%. Consider it done (well, tomorrow anyway...) So excited for you guys!

PS - I say don't ASK him about the panties, if you win, SHOW him the panties!!! Better yet, have Red Bella do some Facinelli Frillies to take!!

    ReplyDelete
  4. Facinelli Frillies?! hahahaaaa!!!

And yes - the auction is for up to FOUR people to dine with PFach! TwiCrack might not be around, but the date's not out there at this point so it's tough to say for sure how it would go down...

I am SO excited about this, though!

Sorry if you all get tired of hearing about this but we're gonna keep mentioning it and retweeting for the next week...

P.S. NEXT WEEK AT THIS TIME?! SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    : )

  5. P.S. you guys are awesome - thanks for your donations yay! Red Bella, Mrs. P, Anntastic23 - we [heart] you guys! wooo!!! oh man this could be fuuuuun!!!

  6. You got it, girls! Great cause, great opportunity, great guy!!

Ironically enough, my friends/co-workers got together tonight to play the Twilight Scene It DVD game, which is narrated by none other than Dr. Carlisle Cullen. We were giggling like school girls every time we heard PFach say, "No, that's not where it goes" on one of the picture puzzles.

    GOOD LUCK!

P.S.: This time next week, I'll be in my seat waiting for the midnight showing of New Moon to begin. SQUEEEE!!!

  7. I only got as far as "maybe we should head to the Pacific Northwest for the Eclipse premier..." (I'll read the rest, I promise) before skipping down to comment:

My husband and I are seeing New Moon at one of those swanky 21+ theaters... if you guys are serious, consider yourself set up with a place to stay if you want to do it on the cheap (we've got an aerobed and a couch) :-).

    ReplyDelete
  8. @look closer - nice! might see you in june!! : )

    ReplyDelete
  9. @STY,"oh man this could be fuuuuun!!!" sounds like that enzeen? commercial. LOL. Gonna have Mr.Rotty spend is paypal money! DO IT! Good Luck Ladies!!

  10. I move that we combine the Eclipse premiere with the first annual Twitarded Con. Anyone second that motion?!

    Lisa

    ReplyDelete
  11. I did it, I did it!!!

@sprtmom1721...Second that! and invite the entire cast!

    ReplyDelete
  12. @rottymama - All in favor, say "Aye!"

    ReplyDelete
  13. @sprtmom1721..."Aye!"
OY! They are probably asleep and we just voted! LOL

  15. @sprtmom1721...I gotta work on my blogging skills. My page is weak. I'll check yours out! Good night! 7 more days!

  16. My blog is definitely in its infancy. Blogging is VERY addictive, though.

I am working with Dana at http://lilybeandesigns.blogspot.com/ on the layout. More tweaks to come in the next few days, but we're getting there. She's awesome to work with and very reasonable. I found her through Jessica at Twilife.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Done! Good luck with the bid! *allfingerstoesscrossed* :)

    ReplyDelete
  18. @Look Closer: Do you happen to have a Cinetopia near you or is it another one in the Pacific NW? I'm right across from Portland, OR. If you're near, we may HAVE to have a Twitarded followers event for Eclipse!!!

Who's coming?! It could happen. We could all sponsor a Twitard from around the country and provide them with room and board for a couple of days. ;)

And thanks STY for the mention of the "swanky" theater. I'm shocked that you don't have that kind of thing in the city. We're only out here in the trees.

WordVerif: aducat. I'd like to aducat-e him in the ways of a woman almost at her peak of passion.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Great idea for the benefit ladies! I'm all for it. Maybe you could let your biggest contributors attend with you if Lorabell and crew can't make it. Or you could run a contest. Just a couple of suggestions. :)

    ReplyDelete
  20. Hi Ladies,

What a great idea !!! I am in Ireland, but would love to contribute to this!

You'll get to meet the lovely PFach and get to raise a lot of money - double win!

A random idea that came to mind( Feel free to shoot it down if it doesn't sit right!), but if it all works out as planned and you do get to go on the dinner date with him, how about giving him a thank you card from all the twitards – thanks to him for always being so gracious to fans and making them feel part of this the whole experience with him…. That way he would also know who contributed to the fund raising…. Now, as I said, its just an random idea I thought of, so if it doesn’t appeal no biggie. It could be as simple as printing out a list of names and sticking it into a card and giving it to him.... I am sure we have plenty of creative people in the twitard universe who may even want to make a card???
Then again it maybe a bit too much??

Anyhow, GOOD LUCK may the twi-force be with ye!

    ReplyDelete
  21. I'm so excited for you! They did an auction for dinner with the dude who plays Sam (so nowhere near as sexy as Pfach) at a convention in Sydney and they raised about $1200AU.

I have happily donated for this cause. Hope many, many others get on this badwagon! I want to see photo's!!!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Done.

Wicked! This is just a win all round isn't it!

Good luck girls. I've got everything crossed. Can't think of a better three/foursome to meet the pfach ledge. I'd rather you met him than me even, you'll have infinitely better questions!

Will add your post to our blog later, might help drum up some support xxx

oh and PS my Team Twitarded Mega-mug (it really is very large) arrived this week from Cafe Press. Many a raised eyebrow at work as i slup my tea from a mug with two cartoony Zombie vamp chicks on it.

    It make me happy :)

    ReplyDelete
  23. oh and when is Twitarded-con? I want to come!! Even from across the pond :)

(watched Yes Man the other day and now saying yes to everything. Since Tuesday i'm now going storm chasing, cliff diving in cornwall, visiting the Olympic peninsular, bungee jumping, and having a trip to NY - so i'd like to coincide with Twitarded-con :)

Bloody hell, this Yes thing is expensive!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Thanks again to everyone who donated! JJ and I will be sending out some Twitarded buttons for sure!!

I was thinking maybe Pfach needs a Twitarded tee - or maybe a nice Twitarded hoodie to keep himself nice and vampire-pale !

    : )

P.S. I love the idea of sending a thank-you to Peter! [yes sure we are on a first-name basis with him too now I suppose...]

Like I said, this is a win-win situation - I WANT this dinner, but I won't be too sad if we are outbid and end up simply donating the $ we've all raised to the cause! Either way, Twitards care and will help make a difference!

    : )

    xo

P.S. By this time next week, NM will be OURS! WOOOOO!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  25. @STY - Did you get ANY sleep last night?!!

Serious goosebumps thinking we'll have full-on New Moon memories this time next week!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Totally gonna help this cause...does it make me a bad person that I want to donate more b/c I want you ladies to meet PFach and helping little un's is just an awesome bonus???
    Now...to find my debit card....

    ReplyDelete
  27. Done, I cant wait to have a pin to go with my t-shirt!

    ReplyDelete
  28. thanks TJ!

Stoney, we LOVE that graphic/pic! Any your "Dirty Office Suess" post slayed me - Robward/Darkward-in-the-hat?! LMFAO!!!

We'll try to get buttons out asap - maybe in time to wear to the premiere but I don't need to remind you that time is tight - less than a week - squeeeeeEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Poor PFach. He has no idea what he's getting into. Muhwawa.

I am SO excited. The idea of sitting down with Dr. Cullen gives me butterflies. I can only hope that I don't do something totally mortifying if we win - like choke on my steak. Oh wait! He's a doctor. I'm all good.

Thank you SO much for all your contributions!! I got a rather ominous email this morning from STY that said "be prepared to lick envelopes this weekend", which is either a sexual act I have not yet heard (ha!) or it means we have buttons to mail out.

    ReplyDelete
  30. @JJ - I'm a little worried that if you actually win the auction and get to sit on, er, across from the fabulous PFach that you will get too excited and poop your pants. Just sayin' ;)

    ReplyDelete
  31. @sprtzmom1721 - So am I. So am I.
On the upside, if I do it will be caught on film in some way and my fifteen minutes of fame (because there is no way it won't be mortifying)will be over and I don't have to worry about embarrassing myself in front of large audiences ever again.

    ReplyDelete
  32. @JJ - And we will love you all the more for it. We may not claim to know you, but that's another story . . . LMFAO!

    ReplyDelete
  33. That´s so nice , donating for a good cause and having the oportunity to meet Peter , I really hope you guys win , I just donated and will spread it over my twi-friend here in Brazil

    Your guys are awesome :D

    ReplyDelete
  34. Donation Done! Talk about living vicariously through someone... I would LOVE to meet Peter (and his wife as she is one of my favorite people, too). I truly hope you win! Whatever else I can do to help with this cause, just say the word. Please be certain to take TONS of pictures if you win... maybe he will show up at the theater to up the bids!!! I would take my camera just in case ; )

    ReplyDelete
  35. OOOOOHHHH SQUEEEEE!! Do bring a black twitarded hoody for Rob as well!!!

    ReplyDelete
  36. I would definitely donate $ to both causes, grin, but as I mentioned before, I have no way of doing so - no credit card, no pay pal thingy. I am truly sorry, girls. I can only cheer and hope that you two win. That'd be so fucking awesome (but not more awesome than donating money to the foundation for childhood cancer).

    ReplyDelete
  37. Hmmmm.... Facinelli Frillies
    Could be done..

    ReplyDelete
  38. I think…excuse me I mean, when you two are the winners of the auction, you'll need a camera crew documenting this glorious event. A Twitard documentary, yea, yea that’s it… A team/crew of Twitard’s to help you, anyone with me on this? I hold the camera. LOL. Hair, make up, wardrobe, boom person, grips, etc hahaha

    ReplyDelete
  39. I have a whopping total of $2.39 in my PayPal account. I know it's mere pennies, but consider them yours.

    Good luck!

    ReplyDelete
  40. We are going to see Peter tomorrow at a mall close by (Monroe Michigan to be specific). He is signing autog and pix for partial proceeds to this very worth cause. I am, of course, taking my daughter and niece so I don't look like the oldest 'stalker twitard' there!

    ReplyDelete
  41. @rottymama - I agree! I took photography in high school. Does that count?

    ReplyDelete
  42. I am on board for the camera crew for the win, the thank you card for the win and the Twitarded convention for Eclipse (or any time for that matter). Team Twitarded all the way!!!

    ReplyDelete
  43. Oh! Oh! I want to be part of entourage as well, I'll hold the mic, be the gaffer - whatever!!

Glad you are all on for my Thank you card suggestion.... Any creative souls out there with a good idea for a thank you card, or would a good auld Hallmark variety do the trick, do you think?

    ReplyDelete
  44. Well, better get used to me saying "Thank YOU!!!" because you'll be hearing it a LOT in the next several days! I am so proud to be a part of this community - you are all amazing - thanks!! Did I say thanks??? THAAAANNNKKKK YOOOOUUU!!!

So far we have raised over $500! $1, $2.39 [I was totally baffled by this until I read your comment, Sherry - lol!], even one or two $100 donations [i KNOW i can't believe it wither!] all for such a great cause!!! And I am not talking about "Pooping With The Stars" there either (although with JJ, you never know...].

    Speaking of JJ...

Yes, JJ, "licking envelopes" is a TOTAL euphemism! I know that yesterday you had the worst work-day in the history of work-days, but might I remind you that laaate last night you sent me a text that said "Do I need to lick your vagina?" [note: i am not paraphrasing here - this is a quote - I checked]. See? You offered! So pucker up, baby!

    >:)

Oh and if anyone is wondering, we WILL come up with a way - win or no - to ensure/show you all that every penny of the money raised goes to charity as promised. I know that you know that we have honest faces and all but c'mon - these are strange times we live in and I don't blame anyone for wanting a little reassurance before opening the ol' wallet.

    ReplyDelete
  45. WOOHOO! the kenobi family made their contribution, sooooooo, good luck ladies!!
i, too have pimped Alex's Lemonade Stand on my site... it hits home for us because our youngest son was diagnosed with leukemia in '07 and we are still battling it today. the fact that pfach has been for this cause has only made me love him all the more. (that and his hotness. that man is like campbell's soup, mm mm good)we missed his fundraising/autograph appearance at our local mall... i was DEVASTATED. (plus, he was totes in another of our family's fave movies - Can't Hardly Wait - "somebody in there just called me a fag...")
good luck, and OMG YOU MIGHT GET TO TOUCH HIM!!
    AAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!

    ReplyDelete
  46. Awesome idea, JJ & STY!! I'm proud of my fellow Twitards for stepping up for such a great cause and I know PFach is going to be truly dazzled by you two.

I'm dying to know how the fundraising progress is going, but I suggest that you don't give any more updates in case there are enemy lurkers about trying to find out how much our bid will be.

I made my donation. Long live Twitardia!!

    ReplyDelete
  47. Hey guys - besides Paypal, (as it does not seem to be working for me), is there any other way to get a contribution to you, I would really like to contribute, but for some reason Paypal will not accept my card - its AMEX and all.... Grr!

Let me know, when you get a chance.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Just clicked on PFach's fine fanny and donated my dough. =)

What a great idea ladies! I really really really hope you guys out bid everyone b/c this would just ROCK Twitardia if you had dinner with Peter! I get chills thinking about it!!!

Fingers crossed!! And keep on keeping us posted! =)))

    ReplyDelete
  49. @mrskenobi74 - thanks! and PFach is awesome esp when it comes to stuff like this! He really is a giver - lol!

Huh - I hadn't even condiered that if we give updates on our contributions that other people might be able to use it to outbid us, but good point! I will have to keep the collective Twitarded cards a little closer to the table, I reckon! good tip!

@Twi_Chic and anyone else in her situ/unable to use paypal for whatever reason - if you would like to donate and want to send a check or something, please email me and we can figure it out - snarkierthanyou@gmail.com - thanks!

  50. OME!!! I am SOO excited for this. Squee!!!!

I was planning on going all fucking Martha Stewart and making you crazy bitches something twitarded for Christmas (no panties though, I promise) but I'll use that money to donate to you guys instead. That way it'll be like Christmas for both of us!

And Twitarded Con 2010 should happen. I've been saying that for ages http://twitarded.blogspot.com/2009/09/new-moon-trailer-mash-up-where-have-you.html See?? I'll help with the organizing. I'm totally serious.

  52. Argh. I already donated once but I'm donating again because I love you both and completely support this cause. Good luck gals!

    ReplyDelete
  53. I donated also through FGB, but this was too tempting to resist. GIRLS....I am so proud of your asses!

Here's the thing. I'm a Mama Cougar, but I am also the mother of a 16 year old girl who is a cancer survivor. My daughter Katy had a bone marrow transplant when she was 5 years old. She's alive today because of research funded by organizations like ALS. Because people like you care enough to support childhood cancer research, I still have my baby girl.

So...in her name and in the names of her beloved friends Tyler, Kayci and Caroline who are now angels, I gladly donate to the "JJ & Snarky DATE w/ PFACH fund".

Of to figure how to donate...
Happy Friday the 13th! (no, I'm not really superstitious)

  56. 'Tis done. Good luck ladies!!! Maybe if you win you can tell us where you are eating, and some of us Twitards could "conveniently" be waiting outside for a quick introduction. Would promise not to touch or scream (hate the screamers!). Would this break the rules???

Just remember the kiss from Rob auctioned in Cannes fetched $58K, so you may have some serious competition. Don't go into hock over this, we'll all still love ya!

Lastly, I'll email you my address, as I'd love a Twitarded button.

  57. DONE! You guys rock! This foundation is so close to my heart. I really hope you guys win!!

  58. @sprtzmom1721: I second your motion (or third it or something...)

@StarlitViolets: at this point, it's not an arround the country but I think morelike an around the world Twitarded followers event :)

@Twi_Chic: I like your idea for the postcard.

STY and JJ: imho,if you decide to go with Twi_Chic's idea, it would be nice to mention name and country, so he knows it's an international thing, don't you think?
Are you going to give him a Twitarded mug?? Just imagining it makes my laugh!
One more thing: loooots of pictures. Just saying!

And Facinelli Frillies???!! Go, Red Bella!

    ReplyDelete
  59. Done and done! My husband was just asking me last night when we did the bills what my prior donation to Alex's Lemonade Stand was about..hee hee.

But is is worth another one. Good luck ladies! You have to video tape a shout out with him to the twitards that you can post, you know he would do it.... ;)

WV: hanch...I have a hanch you're gonna win!!

    ReplyDelete
  60. Done! I've donated.

I wish we had foundation's like Alex's Lemonade Stand here; there are too few and badly advertised. But I do believe that no matter where research is being made, everyone will benefict. That's one of the reasons I'm "donating internationally".

STY, I'm gonna send to you a (small) email.

    ReplyDelete
  61. sssooooo grreeeattt!!!
had to send y'all this New Moon song "Into Gray" by Elli Lauren!! (hit twitards for the link) sooo cooll!!!

  62. this is what i get for not having a credit or debit card!!!

i'll just send some positive vibes out into the universe for you!

    good luck!

    ReplyDelete
  63. Great idea ladies, you two would be the best dinner guests PFach has ever dined with, there would not be a dull moment. I donated this morning and keeping fingers crossed you get enough donations to win the prize. You still win by raising money for such a worthy cause. Check out @laylagrace on twitter and her blog spot. 22 month old with cancer. This will help her and others like her. Thanks and bon chance!

    ReplyDelete
  64. @Mama Cougar - I just finished looking over Katy's website and I must say that I have a huge lump in my throat. What a terrifying journey that must have been for all of you. When my son was born early and had to be taken to a different hospital for his care (which I'm sure you are familiar with - St. Francis in Peoria, IL), it rocked our world. But once we got on the other side of it and he was healthy, I could take a step back and realize that I never would have met the amazing people that helped us along the way - doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, fellow parents, etc. That was on a MUCH smaller stage than what you went through with Katy, but I can appreciate the bonds you have formed with her donor, caregivers, etc. How is she doing today?

    Lisa

    ReplyDelete
  65. @look closer - you wouldn't be headed over to the Cinebarre in Mount Lake Terrace would you? Me and another Twitard will be in attendance. This further supports my believe that one day soon, Twitards will unite and rule the Earth.

@JJ & STY - donation done! I'm beginning to think that this whole Jerkface and Snarkier thing is a front for you two being big hearted softies! = ) Seriously though, love the class you showed w/ the undergarments & love that you are using your platform equally for teaching the masses about creative cursing and supporting a good cause. Love you guys!

  66. @Selene - You're SO right! I can't believe I forgot to mention our fellow Twitarded ladies from outside the US.

To all internantional Twitards, you have my humblest apologies.

We may end up having to do an East Coast, West Coast, and GB Twitarded-Con. For Eclipse anyway - but the West Coast kids will have the possibility of being in Portland while Breaking Dawn is being filmed. Jus' sayin' - could be fun. :)

  68. I have a mortgage, and only the 1 wage, but I made two donations, using the logic that it was just two packets of smokes i was giving up! And maybe toasted sandwiches one night instead of going out to dinner!

    You girls rock!

  69. JJ & STY-I would LOVE for you to represent us! I'm still trying to figure out if I can help donate :D

ps..I met him in LA. Ask him if he remembers me. I was wearing the blue Tshirt. (heehee....if he was gonna remember anyone, probably would be my 18 year old daughter wearing the white tank top that said, "I love Daddy C". But I don't think he noticed, or at least he was polite enough to pretend not to notice. )

pps...He LOOKED like he smelled really good, but when he hugged me, he made me forget to breathe so I couldn't confirm that. So my advice to you is to NOT forget to breathe, and tell us all what he smells like :D

  78. I am totally donating but I have to do it on Mr. VitR's PayPal account and he is asleep and I don't know his freaking password dammit!!!!!

I have had the most shiteous week, hence my absence, but I am so happy to be part of this (I swear I will pay up). It is a win/win in my mind. I heart you all.

Oh and I will totally be thinking you JJ and STY when I am sitting in my swank 21+ theater sipping booze in the Pacific Northwest. ;-)

Oh and I would seriously consider booting my family out of the house to host you Twat Waffles for TwitardCon 2010--you know I would.

    ReplyDelete
  79. @VitaminR - So you're in the Portland area too? That would be sweet and oh-so-convenient if we do organize Twitarded-Con NW next year for Eclipse. And I too will be sitting in the swank. ;)

WordVerif: harkisti. Hark-is-time to go to Volterra to rescue a very important sparkly boy.

  81. As always, we are blown away by your generosity and support! Thank you all so much for donating.

My heart goes out to all of you who have been affected by childhood cancer - or any kind of cancer, for that matter. I don't have children but I can't imagine anything more terrible than watching your child battle this disease.

@KintheFlo - Never overboard. Thank you for doing that! :)

  82. @Snarkier than you - sent you an email with regards to alternative methods of contributing to the fund raising/main cause... Let me know what is best for you guys, I know we are up against the clock now, as its only a couple of days to main event (SQUEEEEE!!!!). But sure, just email me back when you have a chance. I don't want to miss out on helping out on this... :-)
